Niceness is never wasted Dear Boy and I always appreciate those who show someā¦I hope You too are in better fettle soon xā¦Donāt mention needles.
I havenāt seen Lovemyboys around for some time nowā¦does Anyone know how She is?
Hi May ā¦ LMB is busy with a project and has a deadline to meet.
Thanks Myrtleā¦hope She returns when She has more time.x
Good Morning All. So glad you are back May. A grey damp day here, but at least itās not freezing. I ventured out to buy some additional Christmas Cards and stamps this morning. Iām determined for it not to be the usual 11th hour panic this year. Address book found and fountain pen filled. Am I the only one to still use a fountain pen ?? Dinosaur Mike again! 2nd mortgage job to buy the stamps! Mature intelligent types like us on this forum will realise that a 2nd class stamp is about 11/6d (Off the top of my head). Bloody Nora !! Are we being ripped off or what ? Sorry, just felt like a whinge. Been confined to barracks for too long with this bleedinā cough, cold and general mange.
Take care all.
Mike.
Itās a grey damp day here as well .
This morning I got an unexpected invite out for coffee and a scone at a little cafe in the village . Had planned to go food shopping but thought , that can wait ! Iām not one to refuse a coffee and scone ! Thoroughly enjoyed it .
Then picked up the dogs and had a couple of errands to do in town followed by the dreaded food shopping . it was a quiet time in Morrisons so I got it all done fairly quickly .
Had the dogs out a short walk on way home . By now it was pouring with rain so short suited them fine .
Got home , unpacked shopping , fed dogs , got the woodburner on and now having a well deserved rest , phew !!
Eveninā Allā¦couldnāt tell You the last time I used a fountain pen Mikeā¦yonks ago,and I donāt send many Cards these days except to Family down south, most are delivered by hand to Relatives & Neighbours.
Youāre entitled to a whinge when Youāre not well, gawd knows I do enough of it in here ā¦Who the heckās Bloody Nora?
ah a few of you still about, just popped in to say A Merry Christmas to you all, have a good one x
Hi Docā long time no seeā¦Hope Youāve settled in nicely to Your new Home and Youāre doing ok healthwise,ā¦Merry Christmas to You too when it comes.x
Mike know how you feel I was Ā£13 pounds last week for 24 second class stamps. Thanks Doc for the Christmas wishes. Met my nieces for lunch and got their presents so I think thatās me finished.
Good Morning Each,itās a very mild windy one here after all the freezing fog yesterdayā¦Off to see the Phlebotomist now  ,canāt even have a cuppa before so Iāll be ready for My breakfast when I returnā¦have a good one Folks,x
Good morning
Iām going to my Motherās grave this morning ā¦ it will be damp underfoot but otherwise itās not a bad day.
Take care everyone
Good morning off into town later for a few things. May good luck at the Vampire. Myrtle a wee hug for you.
As Jess said May, I hope the Vampire Lady wasnāt too thirsty. The needle was hoooooow long ??? Gulp. Just back from P.O. Thatās all the cards away. Never been so organised! Being stuck in with this pesky cough/cold has had its advantages I guess. A time for quiet contemplation Myrtle - visiting your Mumās grave. Just remember the good times - as Iām sure you do. Thoughts with you. Just slurping milky coffee then more Benylin. Ho-hum. Really warm out there today. It makes a pleasant change!
Take care all.
Mike.
Well Iām back from the vampires, lolā¦She couldnāt find a vein in left arm and hit a nerve where hellish pain shot right down My armā¦now being the Daughter of an amature boxer,My right fist automatically drew back to sock Her in the gob.. ,stopped just in time luckilyā¦donāt know who was more shockedā¦Her or Meā¦both had a good laugh thank gawd!.. She got the 3 vials without any bother from other armā¦Hope I donāt have to go back there any time soon.
((((((((((hugs))))))))) for Myrtle & Mike,xx
Thanks for the hugs x
Afternoon Folks,I thought You might be interested in watching the series āIn Plain Sightā at 9pm Tonight on STVā¦Itās about the serial killer Peter Manuel who as it turned out lived less than a Mile up the hill from where I lived when I was a Girlā¦scary to think He lived so close by and We could have passed Him in the street.
Itās not something I could watch May ā¦ Iām a wimp when it comes to anything scary
I agree about someone like that living close by ā¦ I lived in the area where Ian Brady and Myra Hindley found their victims ā¦ unnerving to say the least !!!
Hugs from me to Myrtle and Mike as well .
You might need to drink a few more cups of tea May after losing all that blood !
Grey and miserable day here . Have been too busy to notice it much as I had all the last minute things to do before OH gets back from New Zealand .
Iām so tired now I canāt even be bothered making myself a meal this evening . Might just have tea and toast .
