Good Morning Folks. Woke up to a very hard frost. āCool & Refreshingā sums it up! Water troughs for the sheep and bird bath frozen solid. A cloudless sky and bright sun though. Better that than the endless grey clag of late! I hope the Hoo-ray Henryās arenāt back Abbey, and peace and quiet can return.

Freezing cold day here but sunny too so canāt complain . Been to Morrisons so all stocked up with food for another week .
No massacre today but there will be more . Dogs have still not recovered here and seem to be waiting for it all to start up again .
Abbey poor dogs I hope they are ok now. May I agree I have great views here and its only an hour into town on the train. My nephew is coming home from Australia for Christmas and New Year, its two years since he has been home.

Good Morning Folks. Another frosty clear day. The 6x6 has to go for its MOT this morning. A 50 mile round trip due to only certain places can test them :-(. Just to add to the fun ā¦ thereās no heater fitted!! Brrr. Itās 43yrs old and in better nick than I am :shock: Plenty of layers on instead. (Resists temptation to say Winter drawers on!) No May, I didnāt take a wee flask out on the hill yesterday. Saved the contents for the evening !

Good Afternoon Each,just back from a late walk and was a bit wary of the frozen pavements,donāt fancy falling on My Derrierā¦again!
Have had a bit of worry with Eldest Daughter as She had a wee āepisodeā while cycling in London at the weekend,She felt one side of Her face go numb,and She became confused going up in the lift from the train station,Her Partner and My 2 Grandkids said She was acting oddly all day,but They mostly just laughed about it,when She phoned and told Me about it I insisted She seen the Docā,ā¦resultā¦ Sheās had an MRI scan of Her head & neck which was fine,no sign of a mini strokeā¦and is being fitted with an ECG to moniter Her heart beat which is erraticā¦blood tests showed Her cholesterol was really highā¦Sheās a slim,fit,non smoking vegetarian!!,ā¦10 out of 10 for the NHS for acting so quickly,and Iām just so happy thereās nothing serious to worry about,ā¦I hopeā¦See Ya All later.x
Glad that your Daughter took your sound advice and went for tests asap. Yes, 10/10 for the NHS. Strange, and a little concerning is the high cholesterol reading. Slim, fit, non smoking vegetarian ā¦ it doesnāt figure? So glad sheās otherwise ok. I passed my test (MOT) ok this morning. Phew !! Small beer I know.

Glad to hear your daughter had tests done May . At least since they know the cholesterol is high they can do something about it .
Still freezing cold here . Walked my dogs at the forest and then Ardwell pond which was partially frozen .
Then had a nice coffee with a friend . My friend also brought me a nice bunch of flowers which was a lovely surprise .
