Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Good morning everybody cold and frosty here at the moment. Abbey its lovely to see animals in their own environment.

Good morning

Out Birthday/Christmas shopping today with my daughter ā€¦ help !!!

No more nose bleeds up to now so fingers crossed.

Lovely to see deer close up Abbey ā€¦ this was taken on a walk earlier this year ā€¦

Good Morning Each, well Iā€™m still here until vm starts with their repairs in My area again, gerring on My nerves as I have to sort out whatā€™s been added on in the laptop every time, and the TV,phones go down too,

Another cold wet boring Sunday Mornā€™ here so I aint goinā€™ nowhereā€¦Iā€™m sounding like a crabbit auld git now I know, heh heh,lay too long in bedā€¦thatā€™s My excuse anyway :-p

Aye You should maybe mention the nose bleeds to the Doc Myrtle, always best I think,

How lovely Abbey to see Deers so close up,bet that made Your dayā€¦See Ya All Later,x

Good Morning All. A grey, claggy morning here with temp. just above freezing. Yuk! Just in from topping up bird feeders. The large seed one had jammed up much to the frustration of our feathered friends. Took ages to free in off again. Whilst doing said task a tame hen pheasant who comes every morning was at my feet staring up with a look of cā€™mon cā€™mon Iā€™m bloody hungry. She hoovers up the seed dropped by the others. Great to watch. Great time wasters in fact !! I love birds. I hope the nose bleeds are just a passing thing Myrtle. As the others say - maybe a quick check by the Doc should be on the cards? Great that you saw(and stopped in time to see) the deer Abbey. Graceful creatures. NOT the things to hit though. Like you May, Iā€™m in for the day.

What ever you are doing folks - enjoy !

Mike.

Good Morning Each,a dry one here so far,off out for a walk to the shops & to change books in the Library hoping Iā€™ll meet Someone there for a blether and a cuppa java as Iā€™m feeling low after another of My Neighbours died Yesterdayā€¦Relatives & Neighbours are slowly departing from My Life this year, and the scary thing is They were all younger than Me :frowning:

Iā€™m a proper wee ray of sunshine on this Monday Morn aint I :-pā€¦Hope You all have a good day,see Ya All Later,xx

Good morning

Wind and rain here today :frowning:

Yay !!! No more nose bleeds ā€¦ dancing this afternoon

Oh dear May ā€¦ itā€™s so upsetting when you hear someone has died and even worse when there seems to be a spate of it ā€¦ sending (((hugs))) x

Itā€™s freezing cold here and it hasnā€™t really brightened up to warm things up .
Had the dogs out their second walk early and have now got the logburner on early too as itā€™s so cold .

Sorry to hear you are upset today May . As Myrtle says itā€™s worse when there are a few deaths in a short space of time

Good Afternoon all You lovely Peopleā€¦Feeling a lot better after a chat with a couple of complete strangers in the library coffee shop,Everyone needs Someone to offload to and I was more than happy to just listen and commiserateā€¦Then I had a long phonecall from My eldest Daughter in Kent and We had a good old laugh about Life in general recalling the things the three of Them got up to when They were Kidsā€¦Ayeā€¦itā€™s good to talk, but being a bit introverted I know now I donā€™t do enough of it except to You Folks on here and I appreciate You All very much for ā€˜listeningā€™ to Me,xx

The sky above My wee Town is a fiery red now, does that mean the Shepherds will be delighted? :-p

Good evening everybody out early today at the hairdressers then into town. Myrtle glad to hear that youā€™ve had no more nosebleeds. May sorry to hear that your upset about a neighbour dying, it is good to be able to talk to people about it.

Hi All. Mayā€¦ A somewhat belated message to say sorry to hear of your neighbourā€™s passing. You did the right thing in going out and actively seeking company and someone to chat to/unburdon/share things with. The chat with your family sounded like just the tonic you needed.

I was out for a walk about 4-15pm. Just a few minutes after sunset. Wow, the sky looked like it was on fire. Oh to have had a camera with me!:frowning:

What the sayingā€¦ Red sky at night - Shepherdā€™s delight. Red sky in the morning - Grangemouthā€™s on fire !**

**For those scratching their heads , Grangemouth is a huge oil refinery nr. Falkirk.

Iā€™ll get my coat !

M.

Good Morning Folks from a cold wet Lanarkshireā€¦I thought a red sky at night meant it would be a fine sunny morning next dayā€¦wrongā€¦mibbe the shepherds house was on fire :-p

Well I was rudely awakened at 6am this morning by a mobā€™ phone number calling My landline which the answer phone picked upā€¦no message left on itā€¦:shock:ā€¦See Ya All later,x.

Good morning

Itā€™s the calm after the storm here this morning ā€¦ it was horrendous yesterday !!!

More birthday/Christmas shopping this afternoon with my daughter when she finishes work :frowning:

Abbey ā€¦ howā€™s your daughter and grandson ?

Stay safe and warm everyone

Good morning everyone . Got up this morning to heavy rain . As I have 4 dogs I hate the rain ! ( all that drying of dogs ) So laid out the towels and set off for the forest walk . Itā€™s a 10 mile drive to the forest .
Got half way there and guess what no rain ! No rain at the forest either and not only that the ground was dry too . Yay, I felt like Iā€™d won the lottery !!

Myrtle , my daughter is keeping better thanks and my grandson has his plaster off now and is running around as if nothing had ever happened . So thatā€™s good news !

Mike , I grew up in Grangemouth . Quite exciting when the refinery went on fire and all the fire engines were tearing down the road . Everyone would be out looking !

Good morning everybody we had a lovely red sky here last night. Some blue skies and a bit of sunshine as well here at the moment.Abbey glad to hear your daughter and grandson are better. Myrtle enjoy the shopping. May I never answer the phone I just let it go onto the answer machine. Going to Dunelm today for a browse.

Had to take my dogs the Ardwell pond walk today . Of course I love it there but the reason I had to go was that there is a shoot on at the big estate near my house . My dogs are absolutely petrified of all the loud bangs so they would not have enjoyed it here .
Just wondering if all these people who like shooting would like to go to a war zone where they could be actually killed themselves .

Theyā€™ve been shooting now for over 5 hours . Itā€™s not a shoot itā€™s a massacare. I have no idea how these people can sleep at night :frowning:

Sounds like you have a shower of Hoo-ray Henryā€™s on your door step Abbey. All noise and no brains (or conscience).

M.

Mike , they come from all over the place and pay hundreds of pounds so they can shoot defenseless birds . I know of someone who pays a fortune to go and shoot wild boar in Poland . Bizarre what some people call fun .

Abbey I agree with Mike lots of money but no brain cells. Had a browse round Dunelm but didnā€™t buy anything.

Jess I used to love going to the Dunelm shop when I lived in Edinburgh . I bought some really nice things there . Good prices too .
