Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Good afternoon. May I had the usual coat on today it wasn’t that warm here today. Well done on being able to see the bus coming. Met up with one of the knitting group today for coffee. Out this evening to the pub for a drink and a chat.

Good morning all. Very wet and dark here this morning.
Waiting for a phone appointment about my hearing. Hate telephone prefer face to face appointments. But would have been soaked going to Hairmyres this morning.
Good news about your eye May. I have cataracts too but not yet at the stage to be removed.
Have a good dat everyone

Good Afternoon Each,a fine sunny mild one here after the heavy rain this morn’,

Keep Yer :eyes: on those cataracts Bonnie and don’t wait too long to have them removed…I had the start of cataracts 3/4 yrs ago,but decided to wait a while to have the op’…little did Anyone know there would be a World wide pandemic which halted all minor op’s and by the time I got an app’t My eyesight had deteriorated and the cataracts became more dense which made an op’ more risky,
Hope the call from Your Doc’ was ok but seems a bit daft to phone someone who has hearing problems …just kidding.

Had a potter around the garden and swept up some leaves and did a bit o’ pruning, sun quite warm on My face which was very pleasant…now feet up with a coffee and Tunnocks
caramel log…yum.x

Good afternoon May haven’t had a caramel log for years!
Phone call was ok just referred now for face to face on 23rd November. Going to get another hearing aid for my right ear now. Waiting for an MRI scan to check if anything is causing this. Will wait a while I think!
Need to put an appointment on for my eyes. Spec savers keep sending me letters.
Turned out really nice here too but have been shoving my bed and bedroom furniture about to get all the stoor oot. Fair puffed out having a wee breather and a big drink of water.
:triumph::triumph::triumph:

Good evening ladies. Jean hope all went well today with phone appointment. I’ll wait till the furnitures moved and then dust. May they keep telling me I have cataracts which are slow growing. No gardening for me today, met up the nieces and Joseph. Got a lift home today which I appreciated.

Good morning. Some more packing done and more stuff for the charity shop. Off to Haven in Ayr for a Halloween weekend, meeting up another niece and her family.

Morning all. Back to Granny duties today. Going into Hamilton for a few things then on to Chatelherault.
Jess another wee weekend good for you enjoy! Think we should call you Judith Chalmers lol!
Enjoy your day everyone.

Afternoon Each,I awakened around 7am this morn’ went to the loo then decided to go back to bed for another 10 min’s or so…didn’t wake up again until 11-30…jeeze…half the day has gone and I’ve just had My breakfast :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Afternoon, Not very nice here in Perth, showers on n off. Been sleeping a lot, not ill just tired and down.
Can’t be bothered cooking either so it’s been microwave meals but tonight will go for a fish supper.
Not been doing anything at all so no news for you.
Enjoy your day.

Evening everyone. May you must haves needed that sleep. Envious of your fish supper Rox.
I am tired so just going to have bacon and egg. Easy greasy tasty supper!

Good morning Each, a wet n windy one here but have to go to Scotmid for some shopping,
I see We have another unwanted visitor which I’ll just ignore…again!! :zipper_mouth_face:

I too am sleeping longer these mornings don’t know why as I’m not doing anything which would merit more rest, quite the opposite in fact…guess I’m just getting lazier

Afternoon, Wild n Windy here with lots of showers. Apart from a swim and a dog walk I’m stopping here in the house. Having a lazy afternoon either jigsaw and audio book or just audio book with feet up at the fireside. Not in the mood for anything the last few days.
Bonnie didn’t get a fish supper, too tired so went to bed early.

I lost a close friend recently, to cancer, but over the last 8 years I can remember her saying “guess I’m just getting lazier”. I told her that she wasn’t, and she was just catching up on the sleep she missed when she worked so hard to give her children a good life.
I suspect the same applies to you May! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Good evening everyone had family here for lunch today. Just going to make my dinner then settle to watch Strictly results. I know it is not everyone’s cup of tea but I really enjoy it.
Hope you all had a pleasant weekend.

Good morning Each,a showery/windy/sunny one here so hope there’s no heavy rain later when I go to a Town I’ve never visited for the booster/flu’ jags…I’m good at getting lost …I’m also thinking there’s lots of Folk like Me who don’t drive, may just not bother this time round to travel to places They’re not familiar with! So it’ll be a taxi to make sure I get there on time.

Good afternoon. Just back from Haven, where the weather wasn’t very good either. Had a good time meeting up the family and all their grandchildren, also seeing all the wee ones playing together. Glad to get home for a rest and get a bit more packing done.

Good afternoon all. Good luck with your jags May. I got the Moderna for the first time and it knocked me for six.
Jess won’t be long now you must be excited. I know it is a lot of hard work moving. Very stressful but a new start, house on the flat and. nearer your family will be amazing
I am going to the Fort for some shopping tonight. Looking forward to it.

Evenin’ All,it’s been a very mild day here with just an occasional short shower…was in & out in 15 min’s with the jags, but I now have a painful left arm, runny nose, and a banging headache just 6 hrs after this new combination booster…jeeze!..not looking forward to the next few days…so…if You don’t hear from Me within the next week…send grapes…or better still…Gin.

Jean getting excited and going to see the house tomorrow, Libby picked the keys up on Friday. Did a bit more packing this afternoon. May hope your arm feels better tomorrow, funny enough I have Gin in the cupboard. Got my winter fuel allowance today 500 pounds.
