I have often wanted to comment on what’s been going on in Scotland, but…I didn’t think anyone would be really interested…besides I don’t go to Braehead or even into Glasgow much, so had nothing to contribute.
Anyway…guess everything starts with something…so I’ll pop in here more often

Well I was nervous about the Independence thread when i started it. I imagined it would end up going all round the houses and down to he££, but it seems to be alright at the minute…

Good morning Each,a fine sunny one here so just going to have a quick run around the garden with the lawnmower,then out for a gallivant around Town.
We were told on the council bins website to put our general
waste bins out yesterday ( should have been emptied on Monday) but I see they are all still there unemptied and cluttering up the pavements!

Going to pop into town to pay a few bills, and have a wander around the ever dwindling shops. I’ve been since 4am so I’ll likely be having a (power) nap after lunch. iI its still nice out, I’ll be in the garden pottering around trying to make a veggie patch for next year.

Hi Jess, thanks, I hope you are keeping well!
I just arranged to go through to Edinburgh to visit my daughter - we were talking on the phone as she walked around a huge park over in Leith, so I said I would go through before she starts her next nursing placement. Hope it stays nice - its always chilly on the East coast I think. The bins are all cleared after the strike now, so the streets are cleared up again. Pity I just missed the book festival, although I’m glad I missed the actual Festival…not a fan of really busy places.

Got a letter from NHS inviting Me for a booster & flu jag in 3 weeks time…The last booster was just in April,so I don’t know how I feel about getting another so soon.

Hi May…these boosters…when are they going to end? The flu jag, aye, I can understand that…but these boosters make me weary.
Your guess is as good as Mine Pixie…Once a year seems reasonable,but why more than that I don’t know.
Same here May. I get my booster on the 28th September. I got my flu vaccine about a month ago.
