Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

This is my first pneumonia or meningitis jab May. I have never had a shingles jab either.

Iā€™ll bet Weā€™ll be getting everything in the one jag soon Scot, lol,
flu/covid and whatever the heck else comes along, :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Good morning. Sunny here this morning, I donā€™t like it to hot now either. May enjoy your lunch with the family today. Rox enjoy lazing around in the garden. Scot Iā€™ve never had the shingles jab. Bonnie Iā€™ve not heard of those jags here at the moment, maybe later in the year. Washing is out on the line, and some more gardening for me today.

I was called into the surgery a year ago for my shingles jag, I got my pneumonia one a few years back when I was in for my flu jag, one in each arm.
Wonder what they have in store for me come October. :scream: :eyes: :syringe:

Djokovic wins and deserved to,ā€¦John McEnroe seemed like a saint compared to the temper tantrums by the Australian todayā€¦:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Great tennis .

I didnā€™t watch any of the tennis today. Did quite a bit in the back garden today, and sat out front for a little while but it was to hot. Dishes are done so Iā€™m going out for a walk before I fall asleep.

Evening all did watch the tennis but donā€™t like either of them so it wasnā€™t the same.
Arm is throbbing like toothache so have been taking paracetamol and drinking lots of water. Nurse was really good didnā€™t feel anything at all but it did seem a long time going in.
Was going to do more in the garden but arm too sore and too hot.
Scot I am surprised you havenā€™t had the shingles vaccine. I got it 2 years ago when I turned 70.
Hearing test on Wed then that will be me ready for anything.!
Enjoy this lovely evening as it gets cooler.

Oh Gawd Iā€™m fried.

I came into the cool of the house when the Clan left,
may have a wee sit outside now with a cuppa,
not complaining as the vit d will do Us all good :grinning:

Morning Ladies, Missing my swimming so Iā€™m trecking down the road to the Perth Pool for 7am for an hour. Then out with The Hairy One to the woods as all the leaves give a bit of shade.
Need to go to get some messages so will head to Asda as I want a look though George for some new clothes.
Enjoy your day, and mind to drink plenty of water. :cup_with_straw: Iā€™ll be on the melon for lunch. :watermelon: :blush:

Good morning Rox and all, someones in the Aveā€™s car alarm woke Me up at 5 o clock, and I couldnā€™t get back to sleep,so
got up and did a washing which Iā€™ll hang out now,ā€¦a bit overcast here but very warm alreadyā€¦enjoy Your day Everyone,x

Good morning ladies. Rox enjoy your swim. May I did a washing last night so thatā€™s out on the washing line. Going on the Waverley this afternoon with the Social group, going to get some rolls and make up a packed lunch. Looked out the sun cream last night, will to look for a hat to take with me.

Morning all. Enjoy your trip Jess. I havenā€™t been on the Waverley for years. Really fancy a trip. Let us know how it is .
Still overcast here too. But the sun is coming through. Another lovely day. Think I will do some gardening or sit in the garden with a book.

I saw on the News that the Tarlair Swimming Pools and buildings are to be restored. Really chuffed about that, our family used to visit often on a Sunday when we were growing up. Itā€™s an Art Deco place really early 1930s, but fell into disrepair. I used to love it there, I visited it a couple of years back, it was so sad to see it.
BBC News - Decaying Tarlair Art Deco lido building to be restored

Good evening. Rox good to see that something is being restored to its former glory. Bonnie we were all prepared with sun cream, hats and sun glasses, but no sunshine it was quite cold out there. Also its got really expensive I was Ā£ 43 pounds and said I was a senior. Maybe other trips are cheaper, I brought a time table home with me, will bring it the next time we meet up.

Hi

I read all the time, but rarely comment.

I do however love the Jag rather than the Jab.

Good evening all. It has been warm here today with hazy sunshine. I remember Tarlair well from the early fifties Rox. We were staying in Banff at the time.

I used to have some photos from Tarlair that mum took around the early 60s, but I canā€™t find them. I was going to scan a load of old photos into the computer a while back but the scanner packed up half way through. I remember putting the photos I still had to scan into an envelope but where I put the envelope I donā€™t know.

Itā€™s what our family have always said. Very few people I know say jab.

Morning, Away to the pool again shortly, it was lovely in the water yesterday after a sweltering night, looking forward to todayā€™s swim. Then into town for clothes shopping for us both and open heart surgery on my wallet. :slightly_frowning_face: Had a look in George and got some stuff in there, so today it will be Next, Bonmarche, and Matalan. Thinking about going back up North as itā€™s a bit cooler there, this heat is draining me.
Have a nice day everyoneā€¦Including you lurkers. :imp:
