Morning Ladies, Wet here today and no wind, the groundās nice and soft sooooooo itās out to yank the weeds while itās easy to do so. I often weed in the wet, the soft misty rain not the heavyish showers.
Afternoon Rox and Allā¦just got a letter from NHS to go to
the Pre Assessment Clinic in Hairmyers Hospā re cataract surgery on 27th July,so things are finally moving after a 10 month wait!..Donāt know how long itāll be before the actual surgery,but Iāve waited this long so not botheredā¦And it wonāt cost Me Ā£7,690

Good afternoon ladies. Went into Glasgow for a things and the rain wasnāt to bad. Got home and it was chucking it down. May great news about your pre assessment for your eyes hope you donāt wait to long. Rox hope yo managed to get the weeding done.

Going to get my gin for our Rothesay weekend later, Jess. Going to try M and S own brand. Think will get ice over there as we should have a fridge freezer in our digs. Like a wee bit ice in my G and T.
Morning, What a horrible day, rain rain and more rain. Had my swim and just away to the woods with the dog, get a bit of shelter there, then itās home for the rest of the day doing whatever or faffing about is more like it.

Good afternoon, grey skies this morning now the sun is out. Bonnie got my gin for the weekend, we got ice in the Coop last year, we had a small fridge in the kitchen. Rox hope you enjoyed your walk earlier. Went to Greenock to the big Tesco there for shopping, got some Charlie Bigham food. Also bought myself a pair of Sketchers when I got home, comfy feet for our wee trip.
Morning, Feeling really down this morning. Simply not in the mood to do a thing. Didnāt even want to go to the pool. All this horrible weather is getting to me now, stood at the kitchen door last evening and felt like crying, all the hours I spent the last few weeks working in the garden is a waste. The flowers I have in all my tubs are ruined with the rain battering them non stop, and the weeds, you can almost watch the buggers coming up, there are more than ever. Am thinking about heading down to Perth for a while, not been for ages.

Thanks Bonnie/Jess, Sounds like fun I used to go off with my Perth Girlfriends for long W/Es as well, I kind of miss that as my girlfriends up here are real home bodies, but we do meet up once a month for a bar lunch and a catch up. Also in the good weather we have friends over on a Sunday for an outside lunch, but the weatherās not been in the mood to let us so far. Hoping like mad we will get some summer before much longer. As you say a good spell of weather works wonders.
