Morning, Rain again but at least the wind’s dropped. Just back from the pool and having a coffee. Heading over to Wick to the big Tesco shortly and will take the Hairy One so we can have a wander over the fields to Sinclair Castle ruins, see how it’s stood up to the recent storms. I see from my weather App we are to be hit with another one Wed/Thursday…Sigh  :worried: getting fed up with them, there never used to be so many as this.

AND…….I thought I was the only Bampot who lives to get these type of Photos. She was taking quite a chance getting so close. :anguished:
Just to put it into perspective for you, the wall is about 5feet in height, level at my shoulder…

Good afternoon everybody. Rox I hope its not going to be as bad either on Wednesday and Thursday, I want to try and get to the Tesco in Greenock for food shopping. Off to a knit and natter with the group I’ve joined, I’ll see how it goes.

Good afternoon Each, just back from Tesco, and put the washing out on the line as it’s a fine sunny dry one here,

Knit and natter Jessie, :grinning:…It’s been many many years since I did that when My Mum & Sis were still here…We certainly put Our Worlds to rights then…lovely memories,x

May don’t remember my mum knitting, my sister knitted. But they did embroidery which is something I never could do. Started a baby hat so we’ll see how far I get with it.

Afternoon all. Just back from a trip to Troon. It was sunny and blowy. Great weather for walking. We walked along the beach then went for lunch then walked along to the sawmill. Did 5 k and more no probs.
Haven’t hung any washing out yet, May. Love the smell of clothes that have dried outside.
Jess I used to love to knit but my Mum always sorted my mistakes and did the sewing up for me. She was a great knitter, fair isle, Shetland shawls and Aran knits. We could knit together. I would knit the back and front up to the pattern then she would take over. We must have had the same tension I think it is called. Wish I could knit again.let us know how you go Jess.

Bonnie cant remember the last time I was in Troon, probably passing through it on the train. I remember you telling me about you knitting with your mum. That’s the only part about knitting I hate is sewing it up.

I still like to knit, I chase the dog off the couch and I sit in the middle with the pattern on my left and the wool on my right. I usually listen to an audio book while I knit. My mum could knit and watch the telly at the same time but I need to keep my eyes on my work, so I listen instead.

Good evening everyone, what a terrible day here wind rain, hail and sunshine.
Needed to go out to the post office but was getting a lift so wasn’t too bad.
Baton down the hatches for tomorrow afternoon and evening.!

Good morning everybody. I do a few rows of knitting then put it down. Was in Glasgow yesterday and the weather wasn’t to bad, and out last night with the social group I joined. Off to Tesco this morning for some shopping before the storm hits this afternoon.
