Morning All, I was lucky, it was dry but cold when I got up so I went straight of out with the dog we had a two hour stroll through the old quarry side and got back to the car just before the rain came on. Don’t know how much more the ground can take it’s very soggy in places, and parts of the low fields are small lochs. Tidy up and then an afternoon at the fire for us, we have some recorded tv to catch up on.
Good afternoon Each, rain stopped here but not for long,
It seems almost Everyone (including Me) on this and a few Senior social sites are complaining/whinging/griping about everyone & everything …So I’m
unplugging the laptop and letting it rest in its case for a while, until We are all in a better frame of mind,
toodleoo the noo,xxx
Morning all. Bit brighter here but very windy. The leaves seem to be staying a bit longer on the trees here this year but this wind might shift them. The Autumn colour seem lovier every year to me.
Hope all went well with your jag Jess. Courie doon for a couple of days anyway as it is a lot of “stuff” going into auld buddies like us.
Have a good day whatever you are doing.
Good morning everybody. Weather a bit better here this morning thank goodness. Bonnie there are a lot of leaves lying here. The arm where I got the flu jag was sore last night, now the other one is a bit sore. Off to get my eyebrows waxed this morning then some shopping.
Morning, I’m waiting in for a Roofer this morning, water was finding it’s way into the Day Room yesterday, a steady drip all afternoon. Thank heavens it’s stopped raining.
On a nice note, it was cold and clear last evening so the Northern Lights were doing their thing when I popped into the village for fish n chips. I posted a couple of photos in our Album page. Do you get it over on the west coast Jess?
Have a nice day all.
Hi Rox, hope you manage to get a roofer. We have one here who is always about and comes right away. We do get the Northern Lights here, someone posted them last night on the local facebook page.
Morning All, Cold here again this morning, I wonder how long before I have to scrape ice off the car before I can go for my swim, every day without it is a good thing for me. Didn’t sleep well last night so after lunch I’m away back to bed for a sleep (i hope) apart from a general tidy up there’s nothing really happening here.
Afternoon quite cold here today. Was at my Auntie’s funeral today. She was 92 and had a really good life. Her favourite music was by Dean Martin so we had all his numbers. Can’t get them out my head now so will be singing that’s Amore and Volare all day. Nice to meet all the cousins but shame it was at a funeral.
Going to take my Wee Sophie to her dancing class now. Going to wrap up as it is getting colder by the minute.
Good afternoon everybody. Rox, I’m feeling a bit tired but I think its from the jag on Sunday. Went into Glasgow and I’ve never seen many policemen in one place, also a Helicopter hovering overhead. Got what I needed and got the train home again.
Hi Jess we posted at the same time!
Heading off to the pool very shortly, then into Tesco for a few things. After walking the dog and a tidy up it’s off to Town to meet a pal for lunch. This afternoon will take as it comes. Glad I’m nowhere near Glasgow, it sounds a right pain for everyone.
I see they did come to some agreements and I’m glad about the stopping the deforestation, that is a must, but why wait, it should be stopped now.
Morning Rox and all who follow. I live near Glasgow but far enough away not to be any disruption to me. At least they seem to be making some progress. Hope it will make a difference.
Enjoy your swim I still haven’t got back to the pool.
It’s sunny but cold here at the mo. My Daughter is coming to take me to East Kilbride shops.
Enjoy your day everyone.
I’ve gotten out of the habit of mooching around the Shops, it’s been before the Covid I last did it. My OH is happy about that as well as my wallet lol.
I always try to start my day off with a minimum of 30 lengths but it’s usually 40 - 50 that I do, depending on how busy it is, then I have a good soak in the hottest of the jacuzzis…Bliss.
Good morning everybody. Sunny here this morning, going to meet up with friends that I haven’t seen since last year. We worked together and still keep in touch. I still enjoy my mooch around the shops but I don’t spend as much time in town as I used to.
Good Morning People, and a bright sunny frosty one it is here,so scarf & gloves on to go to the PO to send My Sons Birthday card off…He’ll be 60 on Saturday…jeeze!!..where did all those years go
It’ll be a cook-up for the freezer when I get back.Ham & lentil soup, chicken curry, cottage pies,so I’ll be warm and comfy in the kitchen with the radio on Smooth,
Have a good one Folks and keep warm,xx
Good morning May and all in Scotland
So that’s what you have been doing since post #8162, when you decided to take a break, you’ve been reminiscing about all those years. I possibly know how you feel as one of my two offspring will be 50 soon, the other one 47! Where do all the years go I wonder?
Have a good day all and keep warm.
Morning all. Lovely sunny day here too but very cold.
Seems like only yesterday you were saying on the old saggie zone that your Son was going to be 50! May can’t believe that’s 10 years gone.
On Granny duty today so it’s 3 skites wi the working bunnet here then up to my Daughter’s house.
Enjoy the lovely autumn sunshine and colours everyone.
Good morning everybody, another cold sunny one here. May hard to believe your son is sixty. I took some soup out of the freezer this morning. Bonnie is it really ten years since we were all evicted from saga zone. Felling good I’ve already vacuumed upstairs and pruned the roses. Hi Baz good to see you posting again. Going to get my nails done later and do some shopping.
Afternoon All, One of those days for me…sigh, I slept in and didn’t get to the pool…more sighs. Took Dageus for a long walk up river, first calling in at the park pond to feed the Swans n Ducks, got a hell of a shock there as the blooming Swans decided to mug me for the food. OMG those Swans are huge close up.
I didn’t linger too long as I was worried the adults would go for Dageus, Mr Swan kept giving low hissing noises at him, but greed won as he wanted all the grub and kept trying to get his beak in the grub bag. Sheeezzze.
Too cold to be outside this afternoon but those weeds are STILL growing, but I hear, Audio book, jigsaw and warmth calling me.
Have a good day.
…Nae reminiscing for Me Baz,I’ll leave that until I’m auld & doddery…I like to take a time-out when I find Myself complaining about wee niggling things,so I stop and give Myself a good talking to, and after a few days I’m back to being thankful I don’t have any serious stuff to complain about
