Good Morning Each,another wet dreich one here but I aint going anywhere,
Had to get busy with the pain pen when I woke up…this OA is a weird ailment,some days I can walk for miles without too much pain,and others like Today,I couldn’t get from bed to bathroom without clutching at walls/doors for support :shock:…So it’ll be a sit down day for Me and I’ll get on with the Memoirs…have a good one Folks,x

…The sun has come out and it’s now a lovely afternoon…I really want to get out in the garden to do a bit of tree/shrub pruning…but I won’t…
My five Sib’s nicknamed Me ‘the breenger’ why walk when I could run…why enter the school by the front gate when I can climb over the dykes and run along the walls jumping into the playground…why get the bus to work when I can run/jog and take short cuts to get there quicker…hey-ho…Time Methinks to take a mental/physical retreat again to get back My calm and patience again…

Morning all. Makings of a decent day here. Early mist clearing from the fields and the surrounding hills. Just the tips of the blades of the Whiteleehill Wind Farm turbines showing above the mist. Spooky looking! I hope the pains have eased up May. Keep jabbing away with the pen thingy!
Monthly shop day today, so have to go down to “civilisation”. Deep joy ! (NOT!) Give me patience Lord - and plenty of it !

Taking a five minute break from looking after my daughter and grandson.
Day one and totally exhausted already ! Will be going home for a rest !!
However I do feel I am needed and making a difference and that’s what counts .
Did take the dog out for a half hour walk this morning and managed to get soaked to the skin , what fun !!
Lovely sunny day here as well after a frosty start this morning. Visited my friend today and then did some food shopping. I have one of my nieces staying for a few days.

Hi Myrtle my niece stays in Glasgow. I usually have one of them down for a few days to stay with me. Off to the movies today to see Girl on a Train.

Good Afternoon You lovely People,and a chilly one it is here…Have a pot of lentil ham & carrot soup simmering away on the stove,and a lovely warming Hungarian goulash cooking in the slow cooker…smells deelish 
Your Daughter must have been very happy to hand over the reigns to Her Mum for a wee while Abbey,She’ll feel all the better for You being there,hope She and Your Grandson are improving,xx
Thanks for your good wishes folks . My daughter is feeling a bit better thanks . My grandson was at the fracture clinic today and now has a plaster cast on his foot and is now allowed to walk as it’s supported . He is getting about quite well .
They live on a farm and this morning there was a nice surprise . A dead rat in the kitchen , one of the cats must have brought it in . At least I hope that’s how it got there ! :shock:
Don’t have my dogs here as there is a dog already here who doesn’t like them that much . They are at home with OH .
Have done lots of work again today and will definitely need a rest when I go home !
OMG,Abbey…a rat? :shock:…You deserve a medal for dealing with that alone,lol,…Glad all are improving and Your G/Son will still get up to mischief plaster or not,

Good news re your daughter and grandson Abbey :-). How far into her pregnancy is she ? I suffered from all day sickness with my first (a girl) baby and it lasted for about 4 months … my boss insisted on drinking Bovril and the smell of it made me feel worse !!! I had no problem with my second one (a boy).
She is only just over 12 weeks at the moment . She suffered from 24/7 sickness for the entire pregnancy the last time .
OMG !!! Let’s hope it doesn’t last that long this time !!!
Abbey hope your daughter doesn’t suffer morning sickness like that this time. I don’t think I could cope with a dead rat either. May will have to make some soup myself. Myrtle any trips planned for this weekend.
