Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Hi Dorothy, it was a nice way to end the evening a wee bite a wee boogie and a wee drink. It saved me buying a taco at the station like I usually do. Hope Ben is feeling better tomorrow, I’ll think about you at work tomorrow when I turn over in bed.

Dorothy glad you had a nice time with your dad, but sorry about Ben. It’ll be this bloomin weather. Hope he’s on the mend soon. Yes it was a great day yesterday and we had great chat and great laughs

Yes, Monday tomorrow = :-(. The weekend just flies in.

Hi Myra I’ll think about you as well tomorrow when I turn over in bed.

lol Jess you’re a wee besom

Martin isn’t long home from his dinner out with Iain for father’s day. They’re both stuffed. They went to Cosmos at Silverburn. It’s an all you can eat buffet. He said he had lamb, roast potatoes and lamb curry all on the same plate . Hope he has the Rennies at the ready

Jess I think you’ll be laughing when you turn over in bed thinking about me and Myra off to work in the morning  Myra that’s good to hear Martin enjoyed his Fathers Day dinner with Iain…that sounds like a lot of lamb on one plate but as long as he enjoyed it. I canny abide the stuff myself never have done. I couldn’t manage a pudding today but fair enjoyed my haddock. My dad had steak and ale pie and chips and he said it was excellent, no pud for him either. We had coffee then another glass of wine, that was our pud!

Myra I’m just teasing you and Dorothy about wok, I remember well the days of having to get up early for work. I’ve never tried lamb curry I prefer chicken the curry last night was really good. Dorothy I had cod and chips in the Chippie doon the Lane a few weeks ago and they were good.

Jess I really enjoy a good chicken curry too. One day when I am in Glasgow I will need to try the Chippie Doon the Lane.

Dorothy I think you’ll enjoy The Chippie Doon The Lane. I love a good curry and Mexican food yummy.

good evening one and all  I hope everyone has had a good Monday. It wasn’t too bad work wise and for once my desk wasn’t like a tip, don’t know what happened there  I felt quite tired this afternoon at work, must have been all my gallavanting at the weekend

Hi Dorothy glad your desk wasn’t a tip today when you got to work. I was up seeing Jean today and they had her in a chair, they were also saying that tomorrow they will take the trachie off and see how she gets on.

hi Jess that’s good news for Jean, hope she gets on ok with the trachie out. I am sitting catching up with Corrie at the moment, 2 episodes tonight.

Dorothy its going to be a long process for her but she is a fighter. Watched Corrie tonight and enjoyed it.

Well that is Corrie watched and I’m organised for the morning, so I think I’ll head for bed now. Night night Jess and anyone else looking in xx

Night night Dorothy talk to you tomorrow.

Good morning. Lovely morning here

Jess that’s good news about Jean’s trachie. Another step forward.

It’s my ward manager’s 40th birthday today and Martin has made her a birthday cake. It’s great! I’ll post a pic on fb later. We’re having a wee tea for her in the ward, then she’s off to Barcelona tomorrow. She’s as high as a kite

Have a good day and catch up later x

Hi Myra seen the cake on FB it looks good, I hope you all enjoyed it. It was nice and sunny here today so I got out and did a bit in the garden. Had some lunch out and was sitting with a cone when the Waverly came in to the pier.

Sounds good Jess. Yes, it was lovely here today too. So nice to see the sun shining. Glad you were able to get out in the garden. Yes, the wee birthday tea went well and Sister was chuffed with her cake. She’s packing her bags for Barcelona and can’t wait. We’ll be the same too Jess. The months will fly in

Just another quiet night for me. I love to just relax and know I don’t have to go out again. I’ll have a nice bath later and get my jammies on.

Hope you had a good day at work Dorothy.

Myra what’s the betting Dorothy will have he calculator out counting the days till we go to Barcelona. Debating whether to go out for another walk after Emmerdale and then have a bath and get my jammies on.

A late good evening from me girls. It was a lovely evening here so I went out for a long walk, fair enjoyed it. Jess I’ll need to be counting up the weeks until Barcelona next as you said! I’m really looking forward to it and of course New York as well. Got my jammies on now and I think I will have a wee glass of wine. Myra I saw the photie of Harriet with Martin’s cake… it looked great, he has a talent there.

Hi Dorothy I went out for a walk after Emmerdale, came home had a bath and watched the Syndicate. Only kidding about the calculator.
