May I bookmarked the Scotland Thread too, but it’s not in my list like it should be. I have no bother with bookmarks as a rule. This site just doesn’t do anything I need it to do. Maybe my computer is not compatible for it, I don’t know. I don’t usually have all this performance with new places. But this is an absolute nightmare for me. 
Another thing I don’t understand is why I am not showing my avatar on the tablet, it’s there on the computer OK but not on the tablet nor the phone either.
Oh Hell Rox,I don’t know how else to help You,I think it just depends what sort of device One uses,so I wouldn’t have a clue how to get here on My phone etc’…I know I had to keep at it for hours on end last week to get it through My head,and it seems to have worked…Baz has helped a lot I must say…just keep trying different things Hen,it’ll come to You 
This forum should work on all computers. Tablets and mobile phones though require a different setting on the device itself.
It could be that the setting on your tablet and mobile is incorrect, the link below from Azz gives details about that, how to see what it should be and if incorrect it shows how to sort it:

Thankyou, it was on the mobile setting instead of desktop. My avatar is now showing too. I have also got this page finally bookmarked.

@Rox That’s good to know, glad you got it sorted out, there’s nothing more frustrating than anything on computers, tablets or mobile phones that will not work! I’ve found there is nearly always a way of finding out what the problem is and fixing it! If not then I find myself just as frustrated as anyone else!
I’ve no idea how to bookmark things on a computer. Did some shopping and a washing, which I’ve hung out. Roxy I feel its getting colder every day and I don’t want to put the heating on just yet.
Jess, bookmarking used to be called, adding to your favourites. Wee star top right, click on it and it will save the page, ask your niece to show you how, only takes a moment. She will need to show you how to access the bookmark list as well, again only take a moment.
Our heating has not been on but the fire has, it’s just too cold without it.

my heating’s on too…what is it they say about the berries on trees…is it supposed to be a harsh winter if there’s a lot…my neighbour has a rowan tree in her garden, it always has some berries at this time of year…but you should see the amount , it’s laden with them…
