Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Morning Ladies, Hope you didn’t get stung May, I really hate those Scunners. Last Autumn one landed on my arm when I was sitting outside. I froze but the bugger still stung me, :022: I was sore for days afterwards…shudder. :091:
Dry here and very dull but had a walk with the dog, and now I’m going to have to empty the greenhouse and do a clean up, such a mess it’s in this year AND, AND, weeds have decided to come up through the floor slabs. :091: Well they are for it I can tell you, got a nice bottle of weed killer for them.:081:

I woke early this morning, wall to wall blue sky, no wind and very warm, just the day for sitting out,now it’s wall to wall grey sky, still no wind

Morning, Heavy showers here this morning, beginning to wonder if I’ll ever get my baskets and some of the tubs back out of the greenhouse this summer. Took then in to save them getting trashed by all the heavy rain the last week has chucked at us.
Went swimming this morning, was told it was dead quiet first thing Sunday morning. Not today it wasn’t, will stick to weekdays at least I know what to expect then…

not too nice here today, sun’s trying to get out, but not managed yet…off for some lunch…hunger pangs have started…

Good afternoon everybody. Bonnie sorry to hear your has lost his appetie, glad to hear your ok though. May I got stung by a wasp years ago and it was really painful. Roxy I’ll have to get out again in the garden again. Had a lovely time away with my other friends. Yesterday was really warm and it was great to sit in the sun. Last night we went for a meal and it was good to get out. Bonnie you would have enjoyed, we’ll get there another time and you can wear your dress then.

Morning, Just back from the pool and my lengths, did 40 today so heading back to normal again. Just to walk the dog and the get changed as I’m heading out to lunch with my girlfriends, first time since all this covid started. Quite nervous actually. I’m out of the habit of eating out, and we used to meet up once a month for a pub lunch and a catch up.

Good morning ladies. Roxy enjoy your lunch out today with your girlfriends. Sun is trying to come out so will get a bit more done in the front garden.

Afternoon all. That’s me out of isolation. Still testing every day but so far negative. My son is still very tired and has a really bad chesty cough. Still not tasting or smelling anything properly but it is getting better.
Glad you enjoyed your break Jess. Hope you didn’t get stung, May.
My bees are all away. Never stung or came near us. If one came in the house it couldn’t get out quick enough.
Have a nice day everyone.

very warm here, sun has come out, but still a few clouds, Bonnie that’s how covid affected my daughter, no taste or smell, and so tired she slept all the time, she’s ok now hope your son gets better soon.

took the car for it’s service this morning, I knew there was something needed for the exhaust, so asked if they’d fix it too, my car is 15 years and that’s the original exhaust, they had to order it so it gets fixed next monday.
The garage is in the next town, so I had to get the bus back, while waiting for the bus, along comes a young woman…high as a kite…waiting for the bus too, tells me she forgot her face mask, and did I have a spare one…NO…lost her bus pass, now she’d have to pay…was just waiting to hear what was coming next…she got on the bus without the mask, got the fags out, but didn’t have a light, asked the driver for one, but she was out of luck…oh the excitement…

Bonnie glad to hear that you are out of isolation. Sorry to hear that your son is still not feeling well. Paula my car was quite old and still passed its MOT. The young ones don’t seem to care about masks, I bet you thought she was going to ask you for her fare.

Morning, Sunny and warm shaping up for a nice day…I hope. Just away to head off for my swim them call in for the messages on the way back. Had a lovely time with my girlfriends at lunch yesterday and enjoyed my meal. Hopefully we can start up again like we used to with our monthly lunches.
Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning. Roxy glad you enjoyed your lunch yesterday with your friends. Its good to get out for a meal. I know I enjoyed going out on Saturday night. Hairdressers, then into town for a massage.

Good Morning Each, another mild sunny one here and I’m quite happy with how the weather is atm,sunny/warm during the day,and raining during the night, perfect!,My garden’s looking a treat

I’m hoping the FM doesn’t follow the advice coming from the nut-job in no’10 re’ easing the rules for covid :017:

May we were talking about that at the pool this morning. Nobody is ready to change anything and can’t understand what Doris is playing at. Is it a case of “to hell with it all” and if the oldies catch it and die then tough. Save paying their pension out.

It certainly looks that way…We are all guineapigs in His sick experiment…I see covid as an invisible snake circling the World hissing and seeking out Those who have not been immunised…None of Us will be safe until ALL have been vaccinated.

Evenin’ All…Me again :-p…It turned out to be a gloriously hot sunny Afternoon which I’ve spent outside reading, pottering around the garden, and listening to classic fm…no weeding… too hot…not a sign of My Neighbours so They must be hiding indoors again…Hot or not I’m making Spag’ Bol’ for dinner

we have our 10 year old grandson for a couple of days, love having him over, we have been baking. since he was at nursery, he’s been helping to bake any time he’s here, and he can bake a nice sponge…

Good morning. A bit overcast here at the moment, washing on and I’ll hang it out. Want to get some gardening done as well today.

Morning All. Dull here at first butthe sun is shining now. Think we are in for another gorgeous day. According to the forecast it’s going to be a heatwave for the next couple of weeks. So bikinis oot lassies lol!
Tomorrow I think is St Swithin’s day. So could have 40 days of sunshine !
Enjoy it but remember to keep safe in the sun.
