Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Hmm…the first minister of England doesn’t appear to be too concerned about covid as His main interest at the moment seems to be fitba’…I won’t be at all surprised if the whole of Britain is put into isolation within the next few months.

Ohhhhh, what a thought, I don’t want to go through all that again… :090:

Good afternoon ladies. May sorry to hear your still having bother with your ankle. Roxy I wont be changing my routine much either, will still wear a mask shopping and on transport. Going out and doing another bit in the back garden.

Afternoon all. Weather mixed here but have got my washing out. I lost my reading glasses spent the whole morning looking for them. Came out the wash with my bedsheets! Really lucky the are ok.
Hope your ankle gets better soon May.
As regards Covid Scotland is worst in Europe at the moment. When is this going to end.
I haven’t used public transport since March 2020. But am losing my independence as always need chauffeured by my Son or Daughter. This weekend am going Doon the watter to Rothesay for a couple of nights. So here goes I know I will enjoy it. Turning into a hermit if I don’t watch out. Was booked when things were better but looking forward to it.

Hi everyone, hope you are all well, hope your ankle’s better soon May.
Bonnie I hadn’t been on public transport since before lockdown, but I had to take the car for it’s M O T last week, in the next village, so had to get a bus to the garage…it’s was ok only half a dozen folk on the bus, I had my mask and kept my distance, but how do I know that whoever sat on that seat before me and got off a couple of stops before I got on, might test positive

Morning All, Another wet miserable day here. Just walked the dog and we both got soaked, Heading over to the huge Tesco at Wick shortly for my big monthly stock up. Not much else on today except I may spend a couple of hours at the Leisure Centre after lunch, need a de-stress so it’s the Steam Room, Sauna, Jacuzzi and maybe a few lengths. See how I feel. Have a nice day…

sun’s out here, hope it stays like that , not got anything planned for today.
enjoy whatever you do

Good Morning Each,a fine sunny one here so off to Library to change books, then into Town for some odds n ends…Swelling gone down in ankle but will keep support bandage on as it’s still a wee bit painful…have a good one Folks,x

Good morning ladies. Supposed to be sunny here today. Got some washing to hang out and then a bit of gardening. Paula I’ve been using public transport, and its been quiet. Roxy enjoy your swim. May our library is only open two days a week at the moment.

Evenin’ All,it’s been a gorgeous warm sunny Afternoon here and a lovely evening…I nodded off in the garden while I was reading…have a bit of a red face now

Had a good gallivant around Town this morn, and into some shops I haven’t been to in a while,so a satisfactory day all in,

Watching Downton Abbey again which is on at 7pm

Even everyone. Gorgeous here today as well.
Well plans for my Rothesay weekend are scuppered! My Son has COVID. He is not too bad just like a heavy flu. Can’t taste or smell anything. But we have to self isolate for 10 days. I took a test last night was negative. Will test every other day.
Hope the weather is good will at least be able to sit in the back garden.
Neighbours will get shopping for us.

Oh hell Jean,I’m so sorry to hear Your Son has this damned virus,I do hope it is just mild and He gets over it quickly…shame too about Your weekend…try not to worry too much,x

Good morning ladies. May glad you enjoyed your trip into town yesterday. Jean sorry to hear that your son has covid, I’m going to miss my room mate for the weekend. Never mind there will be other weekends away. Want to get another bit in the back garden done today and then go for a walk.

Bonnie ,sorry to hear about your son, hope he’s okay, but that won’t stop you from worrying

Good morning ladies. Not sure what the weather will be like but my case is packed for the trip to Rothsey. Hairdressers first then home again to get my case. Be back on Sunday.

Bonnie, how’s your son…Jess enjoy your weekend, not a puff of wind here, but dull…

Good Morning Lassies, another cloudy mild day here but not going anywhere in particular…pottering in the garden where I see Your weeds concoction has worked on the driveway/paths Roxy, but I think I added too much fairy liquid as it’s a weird green colour

Enjoy Your weekend doon the watter Jessie,it must be over 20 yrs since I was last in Rothesay for a jazz festival weekend, don’t recall too much about it as it was a rather boozy one

Hi Paula,

Afternoon all. Dull but warm here.
My Son is very tired and has lost his appetite as he can’t taste or smell anything. But all in all I am glad to say he is not too bad.
Have a great time in Rothesay Jess. Sorry am missing it but at least my son is ok. I am testing every day. How awful is that test., yuk! But good news still negative.
Bought a new frock for going out to dinner on Saturday night, Jess! Hopefully will wear it another time soon.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Afternoon All, Dull and cloudy here but warm and dry. Headache weather for me. Bonnie that’s not good about your lad, hope he recovers soon.
May sounds like you did put too much washing up liquid in the mix, I just put a wee scoosh about a teaspoon full. It’s just enough to make the liquid able to stick to the weeds leaves.
It’s garden for me shortly as I need to do a tidy up and re-coat those weeds.

Good Morning Each,a dry sunny warmish one here atm and as it rained during the night I don’t need to water the garden/plants,

Been chasing a wasp around the house for the past hour,so that’s My exercise for the day :-p

Have a good weekend All,x
