Raining here, and cold. Had mince & pasta for dinner as its comfort food for us when its dreich like this. Canāt believe it was lovely and sunny yesterday, hrmph. Been amused by all the drinkers huddled up under umbrellas, desperate to feel normal again with lunchtime drinks outside in the beer gardens.
Not normal for us BUT, weāve been talking with our mates about starting our Saturday Evenings again. Meeting up for dinner at the Ferry Inn then a drink down the village pub. Need decent weather though, but it would be a start on the return to normal for us.
Donāt know that yet Roxyā¦been a few surprises though,
Oh how lovely it will be when Weāll all be able to go out for
lunch/dinner/drinks without any worryā¦canāt be too far away
hopefullyā¦in the meantime Iāll settle for some warm sunny weather 
How Iād love some warm n sunny weather May, those few days last month were wonderful and made a big difference to me. If we get a good W/E weather wise soon then Iāll have them all over for Sunday lunch outside. I often do this in the summer, cook the chicken in the oven in the kitchen and make big bowls of salad and cold pasta to go with it along with either coleslaw or potatoes in mayo. Iāve usually managed at least one Sunday by nowā¦ Blooming Weather. :mad2:

Mince and pasta sounds just the ticket ion a night like this, Pixie. I am having a mushroom omelette but a wee Pinot Grigio and some fruits and cheese after.
We could all do with the sunshine and more socialising Roxy. May is right it will come back.

Morning, Up bright n early for my drive back to Perth today. Got a big birthday tomorrow my granddaughter turns 21 and we have a get together planned with closest family and her best friend. Hope the weather stays nice for us. Only be away a few days, see n behave now.

Bonnie its age since I had chicken for dinner. Enjoyed my steak pie thatās the last one for a while. Really cold wind here today but no rain. I took a chance and hung towels out for a wee while.
Jess it has been wet and windy this afternoon. Just recently sun has come out but still quite windy. I havenāt had steak pie for ages you have put me in the notion! My son loves a roast chicken dinner better than anything. Timer going for my roast tattles. Better rescue them!

Oh Dear Lord Iām in Dundee City Centre with my grandaughter shopping.I gave her Ā£100 for her birthday as itās a special one and sheās dragged me off shopping. Iām beginning to understand how husbands feel when they get hauled round the shops. Iām shattered and desperate to jump into a tea shop for a coffee n cake, but herself is busy trying on yet more stuffā¦Sheeezze?
