Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

really biting wind here today, blue sky ,car was white with frost this morning, Roxy I think this cold miserable weather makes us feel all our aches and pains more, roll on spring.

Evening Gang. Nice enough here today but oh so cold with it. Faffed about most of the day looking for things to do. I used to like the W/Es we had a routine I enjoyed, now it’s all gone and I’m bored. :090:

Good morning ladies, another cold one here. I’m missing getting my hair done and hearing all the gossip when I go. Also not getting into Glasgow shopping for food and clothes. Not just that but I hate staying home all the time.

Morning, Feeling a bit more like me today, I think it’s because the suns out and that always put a spring in my step and lightens my heart. Walked the dog, and now having a coffee break from cleaning. I really don’t know where all this dust comes from…sigh.
After lunch if the weather stays fine I think Himself wants us to take the Clydes out for a hack through the woods so looking forward to that.

really frosty here this morning, but it’s all gone now, but very cold,

Saw these plants at the door of the supermarket when I did the shopping, they make a lovely splash of colour at our back door, fair cheer you up to see them.

Paula really cold wind here today. Roxy is that Primulas, I love them because of the colours and they last for ages. Got all wrapped up to go to the shops and forgot a mask, so went for a walk instead before I came home.

Yes they’re Primulas Jess, such a lovely wee plant, and a breath of Spring and better things to come soon. I saw a big trolly thing of them sitting at the door of the shop and just couldn’t resist.

Good morning ladies. Roxy I love them and pansies. I’ve also got snowdrops in the front garden. Another cold and sunny morning here again. Some ironing and then out for a walk later.

Morning, Just back from a snowy walk with the dog, after my coffee it’s out with the shovel to clear the snow from the back door down to the lane…again. Well that’s the morning taken care of. After lunch it’s stable duties once again…

Snow on the hills here and I hope it stays there. Really cold wind here again today so I had a body warmer under my coat. Went to Morrisons for some things, then popped into Tesco and got some daffodils.

I love daffodils, such a lovely cheerful flower, if they’re in the shops again then I’ll put them on my list so I remember to look. I like a couple of vases of them in the kitchen, cheers the room right up.
4.30pm and it’s still light, the evenings are slowly stretching.

aye you can see the difference in the daylight hours now, I’m off to watch long lost families, and record The Drowning…both on at the same tome…

Roxy I love daffodils especially in the kitchen. Paula I’m watching Long lost families, tissues at the ready.

Morning, Cold, wet, and horrible here today. BUT, I’ve done all I had to do outside so I’m having a quick tidy up, make lunch then settle by the fire and do a bit of catch up on the TV stuff I’ve recorded.
I was at Tesco and they did have daffodils so now I have 2 vases of them in the kitchen. Have a nice day everyone.

It’s snowing here …for hours but it’s not lying I’m not going out, too cold
enjoy your day girls,

Good evening ladies. Another wild day here I went to the co op for bread and a few other things. Have enough stuff to keep me going for a few days. We’ve had a few power cuts here tonight it goes off for a few seconds then it comes on again.

Morning, Dry and sunny here but bitterly cold. Still at least we’ve not got the snow that arrived further south. Seems there’s a lot headed to most of Scotland over the W/E.
Apart from walking the dog I’m at home for the day, hope your faring a bit better.

Afternoon all, went to Tesco this morning, that’s the first for weeks, it was very quiet, no checkout queues, maybe because they only allow single people in, no couples, someone broke my wing mirror, just noticed it this morning, It was twisted round and the mirror hanging out , I managed to get it back together

Hello! New here to the forum. Nice to see a thread for Scotland folks. I’m on the west coast, no snow as yet but helluva cold and wet.
