Good Morning Each, donāt know what the weatherās doing as Itās still dark outside, but canāt hear any wind or rain as yet,
Had a call from an old flame during the week wanting to meet for a ācatch-upā which We did last nightā¦He was just divorced from His first Wife when I knew Him,but apparently has been married and divorced twice more sinceā¦Iād forgotten just how egotistical and boring He was then and He hasnāt changed a bit.ā¦I was Home and in bed with My book by 10pmā¦Think He had Me in mind for Wife number 4  ā¦See Ya All later,x
Not sure about the Scottish connection in Your picā Nom.but Iām sure Men didnāt wear kilts then as theyāre worn nowā¦It does look a wee bit Egyption with the short skirts :-p
May I take it you wonāt be seeing Mr Boring again
Iām out with a friend today ā¦ she wants to go to watch a ballroom dancing competition so I agreed to go with her ā¦ my turn to be bored Iām afraid ā¦ Iād rather be dancing than watching
Good Morning All. It sounds like you had a fun night (NOT) May ! The number of āexāsā says it all really. Hopefully, you got a free meal at least.
Nomā¦ Re: the Edinburgh trams. In short - yes they have been up and running for a while now. The whole scheme was/is a fiasco insomuch as it was massively over budget and took years longer to complete than estimated. At the end of the day only one route (Airport-York Place) was built. The whole fiasco still rumbles on about extensions and costs. All that said, itās a fast (ish) frequent service. I always use it when visiting Edinburger. If you take your car into the city centre, you loose the will to live after a short time ! (imho)
No,My dating days are over Myrtle, lolā¦unless of course Gerard Butler comes chapping My doorā¦now Iād be more than happy to āMotherā that Bonny Laddie any time :-p
I havenāt been In Edinburgh for a couple of Years, but Methinks some heads are about to roll reā the cost of the whole shebang.
Iāve just been told that my beautiful Grandaughter Kayleigh will be coming down from Wick in the Highlands for a few days in October. Canāt wait to see her. Of course it will mean a few blank expressions from me when trying to understand what she is saying, but she does at least remember to speak more slowly when talking to me.
Good Morning Each, quite a chilly one here so body warmer on when out walkingā¦Off for some shopping to Morrisons then libraryā¦Have a good one Folks,x
Good Morning Folks. Cool & refreshing here too. Nothing gripping planned for today other than taking son back to the station. Had a great time catching up on things. Nomā¦ I never saw the Newcastle trams (before my time), but I remember the Newcastle trolleybuses (bright yellow ?) As a schoolboy, the Liverpool trams were my 2nd home. In Glasgow, the trolleybuses they were called āSilent Deathā. They were virtually silent. Very efficient and āeco-friendlyā long before the phrase was invented !!
I hope you enjoyed your walk May, cool as it may have been. Glad that you enjoyed the dancing Myrtle. Iām afraid I have 2 left feet - and some !
Afternoon Each, got soaked to the skin when the Heavens openedā¦no brolly or raincoat onā¦got some lentil & carrot soup warming and the heatingās on,aye Autumnās here right enough,
Good Morning Each, very wet and very windy hereā¦aye itās soup and hot-pot time again Abbey :-Dā¦Chicken curry for dinner tonight Methinksā¦and itās almost time again for My laptop and Me to go into hibernation for a wee while to contemplate on Life xx
Hi Everyone. A dreary looking dismal day by the look of it. Continuous drizzle since I got up. I was planning a walk in the Drumlanrig/Thornhill area. It could be a day in behind a good book instead !
Whatās everyone else got planned. I hope the weather is kinder to you.
