Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

A really cold wind here today when I was out, glad to get home for a heat. May I remember that ad, shake and vac an put the freshness back. Nothing much on television tonight.

Good morning ladies. Stayed home yesterday and did some housework. Not sure what to get up to today, probably go for a walk later.

Good Morning Each,a yucky cold wet one here again,so no walk this morning.

Looks like it’s just Thee and Me Jessie.

It’s looking like Glasgow & Lanarkshire may be put into level 4 this week, but it won’t make much difference to Me as I haven’t had any Family indoors for weeks as They’re all key workers and scared of passing the virus on…sick to death of it as every day is groundhog day.

Good morning ladies. Not heard that in a while May, cant remember the last time someone said it. Been raining here but not as heavy as last night. It certainly looks like we are going for another lockdown here. I’m going to stay with my niece for a few days as we are in each others bubble. Roxy hope you and the others are ok.

Forecast for this week it’s to get colder…young neighbours had folk in last night , quite noisy all night, so much for going to other folks houses…distancing and bubbles, I sometimes wonder if I’ve been dreaming all this time…

Paula some people are just inconsiderate about noisy parties. I’m surprised noone called the police. Enjoyed my time at my nieces. She took me shopping on the way home today and I got new curtains, lamps and a few cushions.

I like getting something new for the house, it doesn’t even take much to make a difference to a room

Good morning ladies. Another wet one here so I’ll be wrapped up to go shopping later. Paula it does make a difference when you buy something for the house. My niece hung the curtains for me yesterday before she left to go home.

Rain hasn’t stopped all day, cold and windy, I’m just going to ice my Christmas cake…

Good morning ladies. Paula the rain dried up here in the afternoon and then started again last night. Sun is shining here so I’ll get some shopping before lockdown starts tomorrow.

Evening Ladies, I wasn’t going to come on the forum but I got an email that I had a private message…so I came in to answer it.
Really cold here today but the sun came out and that cheered me up. Spent the afternoon with the horses at the stables and brought the horsy smell in with me so heading for a long hot shower now.
Hope your all keeping ok, will be glad when we can get this covid jab and maybe get back to near normal again.

Good evening ladies. Roxy hope your feeling better. Hairdressers today for the last time for three weeks. May hope your keeping well. Gogglebox for me tonight, its the only thing worth watching on a Friday night.

Morning :039: Nice drying day here so I’ve got the washing on…great, I hate drying it indoors.
Jess I don’t know or understand what’s going on with this pain, it’s not been bad the last couple of days but this has been the way of it. It seems to clear up to a point then wham it’s back and I can hardly move again. :090:
Had a slow walk with the dog on level ground and took my dads walking staff with me incase I needed it. Trying to do everything slowly and not pull anything but it’s really hard as I’m usually rushing around. Anyways have a nice W/E people.

Good morning ladies. Been raining here but looks like the sun is trying to come out. Roxy I like to try and hang the washing out even for an hour. Are they going to send you for an X ray for your Back. Some housework and shopping today, then sit with my feet up.

My doctor doesn’t think I need anything more than time…HAH, how can they treat this if they can’t find the cause, I need an Xray and/or an MRI to see what the cause is. Throwing pain killers at it isn’t working, time to dig deeper. IMO. :090:

Roxy that’s all they want to do chuck pills at you. I came back from holiday a few years ago with a nasty cough. I did see the doctor but the pills were useful, it took another lot of pills before I felt better. Been shopping and treated myself to flowers, a bar of chocolate and a bottle of wine.

Good on you girl…can’t do much better than chocolate and wine…we had hail today…I haven’t been out. Roxy, I hope they get to the bottom of your back pain, shoving painkillers at you isn’t finding out the cause…

I’m bloody sick of living in pain. I need an MRI to see what the blazes is hurting inside my leg/back so much, can’t get an appointment for love nor money. I’ve now missed two blood pressure/diabetic clinics as they’ve been stopped. If nurses have to work on the front line then I firmly believe doctors should be seeing their patients face to face, not hiding away behind the telephone and their guard dog receptionists. :010:

Good morning ladies. Thanks Paula I enjoyed the chocolate and the wine. I only stay home if the weather is really bad, otherwise I’m out shopping or going for a walk. Roxy someone mentioned on FB, the days you just walked into the surgery and waited your turn. I don’t know if the doctors here are seeing anybody.

Morning, :039: Bright n breezy here today but pretty cold. Took Dageus to the forest today and hobbled round slowly, one good thing about Dunnet Forest …there’s plenty of seats. After lunch is over and tidied up am just having a quiet afternoon in front of the fire…
