Hairdressers for me this morning. Roxy hope you like your hair when you get it cut. Paula I’m like you never been to a gym since I left school. Treated myself to new jammies today as the other ones are more for summer.
Morning, Kinda chilly here today but it’s dry and that’s good. Hair is just touching my shoulders Jess, feels strange lol. Had a nice quiet beach walk with the dog and now just faffing about with this n that lol. After lunch am hoping to have a go at my jigsaw again and listen to a bit more of my audio book. Enjoy your W/E
I got a new T.Shirt, what do you think?
Hi Roxy, love your t shirt. Your hair will soon grow back again. Chilly here today I’m getting ready to take a walk to the market and see what I can buy food wise.
Tee shirt’s brilliant,Roxy… not doing much today, raking leaves yesterday, arms are a bit sore…we’re having an Indian takeaway this evening , so I’m not even cooking…lazy besom…
Morning, Not a happy bunny I got stung by a bee (I think) yesterday evening and it still hurts. Finger tip is still swollen and throbbing. It was darkish as I was sat pondering in front of the fire, didn’t have the big light on, saw something on the front of my jumper and brushed it off. OMG, the pain was awful and I realised what it had been. Still can’t find the wee bugger and it has to be in the room somewhere, am worried about the dog. I sat for ages with my finger in an eggcup of apple cider vinegar and it helped a lot, but now the pain has me up again.

Oh my Roxy, that must hurt, do bees not die when they sting you?? serves them right if they do…I know wasps die if they sting me, I make sure they do…hope your finger feels better soon.
Roxy I thought I saw a bee or a wasp yesterday when I was in the kitchen. Hope your finger is a bit better. Paula they usually die after they sting you. I got stung by a wasp years ago on the finger and that was sore. Ironing and then going for a walk later.
Morning, YUCK, What a day, dark and wall to wall heavy rain.
Apart from the dogs walk I’m not heading out again…I hope. Just going to catch up around the house then disappear into my book.
Good afternoon. Wet and windy here today. Been for my flu jag and got a birthday card for my nephew. A bit of lunch then watch Judge Rinder and then a bit of housework.
Not nice here either , wind and rain…baked some scones…
Paula the weather is the same here. I did a bit of housework and now relaxing on the couch.
Good morning ladies, another wet day here. Haven’t been doing much except going to the shops for what I need. Will pop out later to the butchers for something for dinner.
scottish gov are to delay the legislation of interlinked smoke alarms till 2022, so many people have been complaining that the first they heard of it was recently when a leaflet came through their door, giving us only 3 months to get them installed.
Paula I seen that on the news last night. I didn’t know about till you mentioned it, I never received a leaflet about it.
Evening, Dry most of the day so buzzing in n out doing catch up jobs. Can’t seem to get out of the bit just now, most annoying as I’m working most of the day and see little for the efforts.
Afternoon, Dry again today so got the washing out as I’m not going anywhere. Saw this bit of News on the BBC Website, this is not going to go down well at all. I think lots of families will just ignore it…what do you think?
Oh dear
I fear it’s going to be a strange Christmas this year. ![]()
Stay safe all of you. x
Good afternoon. I for one don’t want a digital Christmas, I’d like to be with my niece and family at Christmas. Also I think a lot of people will ignore it and meet up as usual. Dry here with some sunshine and a few spits of rain.
I saw that too, my family always come to us at Christmas, but one is in England and one is in Wales, so I won’t hold out much hope, It certainly wont be the same. After all the social distancing ,wearing masks, and sticking to the rules that most of us have done…it doesn’t seem to have made much difference, and just to put the icing on the cake, I heard on telly this morning that turkey’s are going to be in short supply this Christmas…
Morning Ladies, Pelting with rain here again…sigh.
This must be the wettest summer for a long time, never spent so much time indoors at this time of the year. Heading over to the huge Tesco at Wick shortly, the family is due to arrive tomorrow for a long W/E. We’re doing this before Nicola brings in this five tier thing on Nov 2nd, there may be travel restrictions so we’re doing it while we still can, and sorting Christmas Presents ect. Will have a big early Christmas Dinner, but with Roast Beef, not Turkey on Sunday.
May, hope your well, not seen you around for a wee while.
