Morning, Fireworks Ahead…

Good morning ladies. Had my hair cut and coloured on Friday and feel a lot better. Had a great time away with the family. The younger ones wanted to go to the beach for swimming. The pool was closed and so were a lot of other things. We played board games and charades and we all took part in it. Haven’t seen any news when I was away so don’t know what is happening in the world. Still no May hope she is ok.
Hi Jess, Glad you had a nice time. I’m not bothering with a hair appointment, I only get it trimmed once a year and that’s in October. Not a lot been going on just that bit of news about the visit that I left the link for. I dropped a line to May but not heard back yet, maybe she’s just enjoying life again.
Raining here and the sky’s black so I guess it’s here for a while.
Good Afternoon Lassies…enjoyed My wee break from the laptop and doom & gloom news,
Hey Roxy I’m sure Our wonderful PM will be looking forward to visiting Gods Country and I promise He’ll get a wonderful welcome from the good Folks of Glasgow/Lanarkshire
but He’d better wear His hard hat & ballistic vest…and of course a tartan facemask

Hi May, I’m sure Nicola will lend him one, she seems to have a load of them. Seen her in several different tartan ones.
Hi Roxy, I have to get mine cut about every six weeks to look human. Hi May welcome back, glad to see you posting again. I bought some more masks on Poundland on Saturday. Two for a Pound for paper ones and washable ones.
Good evening all. Good to hear you enjoyed your weekend Jess. Sounds fun. May, so glad you are ok. You were worrying all of us I think. Roxy, my hair was so long after 3 months that I was desperate to get it cut. I have kept some length in it but I don’t think I could go for a year without cutting. It’s been lovely most of the day. i think there were a few spots of rain this morning but mostly dry & bright. I even ventured into the garden for an hour. I won’t be rushing to see BJ and I doubt his presence will make any difference to us. I think everyone realises he’s been ‘promoted’ far beyond his capabilities. He should save the train fare and do something useful. Maybe write down some instructions for his ministers so that they at least sound as if they understand what the policy (in England) is today.
Morning, Am getting all the washing done and out to be dried today as it’s to be very wild and wet from tomorrow, so says the weather man and also my app.
Came home from the dogs walk. To find a lorry load of traffic cones going out all along the road…Oh Joy.
Beki, my hair is up in a clip on top of my head or back in a platt most of the time, so it’s not in my way at all. I found a Bob Cut to my shoulders was the hard part, but as soon as I could get a wee band in it and pull it back I was past the pest stage and it just grew. I have cut it dead short a couple of times but regretted it, so had to struggle with it again to regrow it. Last time it was short was 20+ years ago in the 90s.
Good morning ladies. I doubt if I would rush to see bumbling Boris anytime soon. If my hair was thicker I would have kept it long, but it looks like rats tails when its to long. Off to get my hair done this morning then meeting my niece and nephews later.
Meanwhile in Scotland…
Heh heh…so funny …but true…wonder where He’ll hide this time ![]()
Afternoon Each, had My first outing on a bus into Town since March…all very civilised and wearing masks…just around half a dozen passengers…no prob’s with My specs steaming up…I wore My contact lenses :-p…It’s been a nice sunny morn’ here
but expect some rain later…No worries about My hair as I’ve been cutting it Myself for Years…can’t lay back in hairdressers sink to have it washed as it’s too painful with OA on neck/shoulders…have a good one Folks.xx
My yearly trip to the hairdresser is over two hours as she…
1, Puts platinum blonde streaks into foils all over my head.
2, puts dark brown dye inbetween each foil.
Then it’s a half hour wait till it gets washed out then shampooed.
Then it’s dried and a couple of inches cut off.
Won’t be back unless it’s for something special and I need it done.
Always glad to get through it as I mostly have a raging headache by the time it’s all done.

Jeeze Roxy…You must have lots of patience to go through all that…but worth it by the looks of it…I stopped dying My hair when I turned 70 and just let it go a natural platinum white…now it’s just shampoo/condition/blowdry & go.
Smileys don’t seem to working and that’s not the only change since I changed browser from IE to Microsoft new edge…bliddy nuisance!
Decided to revert back to INTERNET EXPLORER…just can’t get on with EDGE as all My settings have been changed around since a couple of weeks ago…will look at it more clearly when I’ve more time,…why the hell don’t They leave things as they have been for years
Trying it again :-(…ah at last…can get smileys…javascript was disabled baffling or what.:!:
Tell me about it. I got the free upgrade to Windows Ten when it first came out, AND I hate it. Can’t switch back it’s too late now. Actually I found Windows XP to be the best I ever used. Would so love to return to it. The new edge came to me in one of the updates I can’t stop and it threw several massive spanners in my works. Like you say, leave things alone.
I’ve never had any prob’s with windows 10 Rox,but I’ve always had IE as My browser…now EDGE is a whole different kettle of herring…too bliddy complicated for My liking, but I guess We will have to put up with it now…I wonder what other joys it’ll throw up
Good Morning Each,a very wet one here and it’s on for the day so a cook-up for the freezer is in the cards…Dug out some home grown potatoes from pots so it’ll be cottage/fish pies & tattie soup,
I was hoping the Library would be open yesterday but nae luck and I’ve read every book in the bookcases,so will have to bite the bullet and go up the loft, hope the boxes are near the loft door…and I hope I don’t fa’ aff the ladder  :-p
I’ve uninstalled micro’ edge as it was doing My nut in,so all is back to normal thank goodness…see Ye A’ later…xx
Morning, Rain here too. You had the same idea as me May, a cook up for the freezer. I was at Tesco yesterday and got mince, stewing steak, diced pork. So the slow cooker is going to be very busy lol.
Have a nice day all.
Good morning ladies, raining here this morning.Roxy I’m about the same time at the hairdressers. By the time she applies the colour and wait for it to take about forty minutes. Then getting it cut. May well done on getting the bus, most people keep their distance. Its the same on the train, they keep their distance. Housework and a few other things today.
Afternoon Lassies, still piddling doon here and I’m bored,
think I may start a thread entitled ‘Proud To Be Scottish’ :-p
