Good Morning all,it’s a fab’ sunny chilly Autumn one here so had a walk first thing then spent the rest of it emptying out most of the potted plants/hanging baskets into the garden bin to be collected Tomorrow…Garden looks a bit bereft of colour now until the bulbs flower again come the Spring…Having a cuppa now before I wash all the pots and
store them in the shed, then roasting a chicken for dinner…have a good Sunday.xx
Morning, Sheeeze I can’t stop shivering, A right nip in the air during our walk this morning. Bbbrrrrr, time to yank out the winter jackets. Suns out but the wind off the ocean is perishing.
Not doing much at all, going to catch up on some tv we recorded. Are you watching “The Dublin Murders”? I found it a wee bit slow to start and hard to get into, but I’m enjoying it now after the 2nd episode.
Afternoon Roxy,no I haven’t watched ‘the Dublin murders’ but will look out for it,
As You know I’ll be taking a time-out until I feel the Site has become a bit
more friendly/positive towards some members, and I can get the ‘feel good’
vibe again…it may never happen…but…never say die…take care and God bless
Afternoon May, Dublin Murders BBC1, Monday n Tuesday evenings, 9pm. It’s episode 3 tonight but you should get 1 n 2 on the player thingy.
I caved and put the heating on last night, and for 3 hours this morning but it’s meant to warm up a wee bit again later today, so it will be turned off again. The cost of fuel is horrendous, they say you should be no more than 10% of your income to heat your home or your in fuel poverty HAH, that’s a laugh we spend a lot more than the advised 10% and we are still careful about usage. Hope Jess is feeling a lot warmer than me lol Blimey she’s aye off on the gad about, does she keep a packed case in the hall do you think?
Sent you a PM, will send you the link if you want to give it a try, Heading off to get a coffee now, hoping I can ignore the biscuits but the wee scunners keep calling to me.
I feel the same about the forum, so changed from the way it was.
Morning to anyone looking in. Jess, May, either of you back yet?
Well it’s been a Scunner of a past week. Hope you faired better.
This pic will give you an idea of my present frame of mind.
Good Morning Lassies if You’re around…It’s another fine sunny frosty one here, just the kind of weather I like…no rain or snow
:-p @ Roxy…maybe You should make some plasticine dolls to stick pins in
Been to My ex Sis in laws funeral the other day,She’s the last of My exs Siblings, there was only Her 2 Children and 3 G/kids there as well as My Daughter and I…so sad…She was 8 yrs younger than Me.
Having a quiet Day today clearing out summer clothes from wardrobes/drawers nowWinter has arrived.
Afternoon May, It’s been such a cold few days, the sun’s been out and there’s a wee bit of heat still in it BUT, that freezing wind is horrible, am almost blue when I take the dog walking. Garden’s had it’s last tidy up and the pots that need to be inside over winter are in the greenhouse, along with the garden ornaments that might crack in the frosts. Got really fed up with my hair last week and had the top cut and layers put in, do you remember that 60s feathered cut? then the mullet type from the 80s followed it. It’s like that and I still have the back down past my shoulders, a lot easier to handle and I can mouse it up with volume too.
Afternoon Each, not sure when Jessie’s due back from Her hol’s.
Aye I too had a feather cut in My Youth Roxy (not that long ago) :-p as You say easier to manage,
The heating’s been on since 8am this morning…Bowl of hot lentil/carrot soup for lunch plus a large chocolate éclair Daughter brought in
Good Morning Each, another fine dry sunny one here with no frost, off to the City to start My Christmas shopping…Toy Town here I come…:-D…Have a good one Lassies.xx
Morning, No frost here either… Thank Goodness. I slept in so no swim for me this morning, just heading off with the dog till lunch time then a catch up on housework.
May, Are you being plagued with adverts/videos inbetween posts? They are so annoying and I don’t know how to get shot of them…
Afternoon all, just back from Town and surprised it wasn’t so busy,it’s turned dull & cloudy now,so in for the day.
Hi Roxy,I’m on Internet Explorer windows 10,I went into My settings and
disabled javascript a few years ago, which means I don’t get any ad’s or anything by google,ie utube, videos, search engine, etc’…there’s a thread about the ad’s somewhere…Hope You get it sorted,
PS,it’s in the Technology thread.
Yes I saw it, I also use IE 10 but the instructions they give are not working on my computer. I go into settings as I can’t find Tools anymore, but the menu is not what they have said it should be.
I used to have a wee icon for Tools but after the computer did one of it’s beastly updates the thing vanished.
Have you noticed how quiet the Brexit Threads are?
Good Morning Each, another bright sunny frosty one here now the fog has lifted.
Will do a cook-up for the freezer after breakfast,
Aye,I noticed how things are much more pleasant on the Forum these past
couple of days,…long may it last
Doesn’t the menu with fav’s, tools etc’ come up when You
right click at the top Roxy?
Morning, Weather’s not too shabby at all today, just back from a beach walk with the dog.
All that’s left at the top of my page is the 3 dots, nothing happens if you right click, left click brings the menu down but there’s nothing for tools in it. There used to be a wee icon there especially for the tools.
Good afternoon ladies. Got home last night and didn’t get up till half an hour ago. We had to cancel our flight as I lost my passport in Las Vegas. Then had to make an appointment with the British Embassy for an emergency passport to get home. The woman came from Glasgow and has a friend in Largs, so it was nice to meet a fellow Glaswegian. Finding it really cold after all the lovely sunshine brr.
Hello Jess Welcome back, you certainly had an adventure lol.
Thanks Roxy, it certainly was.
Good morning Each, and what a wet miserable one it is here but had to go out to PO first thing to send an Anniversary card to Daughter & SIL,and a Birthday card to My Son…he’ll be 58 …jeeze!!..He’ll soon be as old as Me
