Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Afternoon :039: Just back from Lunch with the Lassies, had a grand time and my sides ache from laughing. Had a good catch up too.
Weather’s clearing up fine so hopefully I’ll get the washing out on the ropes. Going to get stuck into the House now, just kind of dittered since I had my swim.

HELLOOOOOO :039: Where is everyone? May have you been tipping the bottle of Malt and fell on yer ass? Jess, git yer tail back here we miss you. We have a new Scottish Member name of Weedeek, hoping he’ll find this wee corner. He’s been posting in Brexit if you want to say Hi.

Good Afternoon Roxy, lol,I never tip any kind of bottle these days unless it’s the milk bottle and I hate Whisky, malt or not:lol:

I welcomed Weedeek on another thread a few days ago where I told Him I hoped He had a thick skin, don’t think He needs it though

I’m wondering if Jessie is having prob’s getting logged on here after the change from http to https…I hope She’s ok.

Yep I hope so May, she never said she was off anywhere except for a walk in her last post. I wish the other Scots would come on here, after all it was opened for us Jocks lol. You’d think they’d look in from time to time and say Hi.

Maybe We have BO? :-p…I’d like to be able to discuss what’s going on in Scotland, but We need more Scots Members,I feel a lot have been scared off by some Scots haters on here (and You know who They are)… Unfortunately We’re still seen as ‘bloody foreigners’ by some

That’s true there’s also a couple of Scots who are too full of their own importance and nasty with it. No way could I discuss anything with either of them.

Yay! We’ve just had a power cut! Lasted about 30 minutes

Good Evening FM,glad to hear You have the power back…can’t remember the last time We had a power cut here, but I do occasionally lose power to TV/phone/broadband from Virgin Media…too often for My liking.

Pay ya bills then. :(:(:frowning:

I do I do,…just had a letter from Them saying charges are going up another £2-80 per Month from October…now I’m just a poor wee Pensioner so I may have to tell 'em to get stuffed…You’ll miss Me then wontcha Ya big Sassenach

I willmleave you a Coo next time im over the border reiving.

BTW way stop sneakin over the wall and and biting lumps out of the comfortably numb, and if your good will let a Welshman adopt you.:frowning:

You just leave Oor Coos alane Mister or Roxys Man will be after Ye oan His horse wi’ His shotgun…I’ve not sneaked over the wall for quite sometime now…We shall see how it goes…but if You can find Me a Welshman who’d adopt Me I’d be ever so grateful

Welshman May???

Was strange! I even had to use our whistling kettle on the gas hob to make a cuppa!

Blimey, Not seen or heard of one of those kettles for… Maybe… Hmmmm 30 or so years. :017:

Good morning Each, rain rain and more rain here…so it’s raincoat & brolly when meeting Daughter later for a gallivant around Town…still in bed with My tea & toast and feel just too comfy to get up and start the day…have a good one Folks…see Ye a’ later

Morning All :039: Rain here too May. Looks like another day the grass won’t be getting cut. Just back from the pool and my 40 lengths and all set for the day. Heading out with Dageus soon, then odd jobbing with the horses this afternoon. Enjoy your day all.

Here I am, glad to discover this section looking forward to a bit of banter. Anyway, greetings from a pleasantly warm Dumfries. Talking about warm, the political sections on here can get a bit hot! Like a wee bit of mischief tho.

Hi Derek, glad You managed to find Us hidden away down here in no-Mans land :-p…look forward to Your patter…As You can see We Scots are thin on the ground so hoping that will change in time.

It turned out to be a nice bright sunny day after all so brolly wasn’t needed.

Frustrating! I am an avid bird watcher and there is a bird that I keep hearing up in the crags above the town, that I simply cannot identify!
There are no less than six species of bird that I had never ever seen until I moved up to Scotland!
