I love any kind of peas. I like making a pureed sweet pea sauce for different dishes and one of my favorite meals is salmon cakes with peas in a cream sauce.
Did you make the Salmon fish Cakes, they look tasty.
What ingredients is in the sauce?
Today we are having Chicken Kiev and Vegs.
Those I didnāt make, thatās a pic I grabbed off the net to use as an example. And yes, they are tasty!
The sauce is quite simple. You just make a basic white sauce, season it up any way you want to, then add peas. I use frozen peas. Itās very difficult to find fresh English peas here, but if Iām lucky enough to find some, I cook them first before adding them to the sauce. However, I donāt normally sauce up fresh peas. Those I enjoy eating raw straight out of the pods or cooked with just a little but of butter and salt.
Enjoyed my healthy dinner today.
Sea Bass, Garlic Mushrooms, Fine beans & Carrots done in a Parsley Sauce.
That sounds very good. I ate on the go today, so nothing healthy to report. Tonight, however, Iām making myself a burrito with 98% fat-free turkey chili, steamed rice, onions, shredded lettuce, con queso and a little sour cream. I made one last night and it was so delicious that I need a repeat.
They look a little something like this, which is a recipe I got the idea fromā¦
Looks very tasty.

Today Iām having my salmon cakes and I snapped a pic before I dug into it. On the side, half of an avocado. Obviously Iām not a professional at presentation, but they sure tasted good.

Today its
Smoked Haddock, boiled potatoes, dark greens and carrots.
Very healthy today.
You eat a lot of fish. Do you cook it all yourself? Or is it packaged? How do you fix it?
Its packaged from the Supermarket Linda, just fry on medium heat in butter for 15 mins.
Ahh, okay, was just wondering. I didnāt know if it was dry-smoked or you smoke it yourself, etc. Iām a seafood lover, but I eat more shellfish than regular fish. Shrimp, clams and mussels are a few of my favorites, but I also love oysters, lobster when I can afford it, crab meat, etc. I especially love crab claws. Fresh is best, but thereās a market that sells tinned claw meat, whole and still in the shape of the claw, and even though itās tinned, they keep the tins on ice in the seafood case. I donāt normally like tinned crab meat, but these nice chunks of claw meat are so delicious.
When it comes to actual fish, Iām afraid my favorite way to eat it is breaded or battered and fried.
