I lost 3lb in the summer just by walking more , now ive gained 4lb because of a fracture , But im having to watch what i eat more for other reasons .
No more bananas or chocolate , nuts for the time being , More lettuce sandwiches and get back into walking . Im really going to lose this extra
weight , im going to set a goal to be a stone lighter this time next year .

I’ve lost a stone and 6 pounds (20 pounds total), but realistically, I’d like to lose another 20. Being in the throes of menopause isn’t helping any.

How long did it take you to lose that Stone Linda ?

Forever. They’re not kidding when they say the older you get, the slower it comes off and the harder you have to work for it. Took me over 6 months when it used to be I could drop a stone in less than 2 months.

Well its nearly here slimmers, yes the time of temptation, Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, CHristmas Pud, and Cake, Mince pies, Sausage rolls, Cheesy nibbles, Chocolates galore, Trifle, Bucks Fizz, Champers, Port, Sherry, Wine, im sure you will all be very good. :077::077::077:

Our biggest meal of the year is over (Thanksgiving). On Christmas the family gets together for Christmas brunch and it’s mostly breakfast temptations like biscuits & gravy, sausage & egg casserole, sweet treats, toast, bagels, fruit bowl, bacon, sausages and cheese & potato casserole. I try and eat just a little of each dish and maybe a couple slices of bacon.

It’s really yummy. Super thin crust, as it’s just an appetizer and not like a ‘real’ pizza. This is what it looks like.

We have just had Turkey Curry & Rice.

It’s pretty tasty.

I daringly got on the scales this morning. I was prepared to see I’ve gone up a couple pounds or so, but surprisingly, even through all the holiday munching, I’m still the exact same weight I was before the holiday treats came into play. Can’t be disappointed I haven’t lost anything, because I’m just happy I haven’t gained.

Sorry to hear you have been unwell over Christmas Mariana.

Today we are having a Pork Chop, boiled potatoes, carrots & brussels.

Taco Bell for me tonight. Watching football (American) and have delicious yummies awaiting me.

And I’m still just 20 pounds down. My body seems to want to settle here. Better than gaining back, I suppose.

For New Year’s supper I’m making baked ham and pineapple, homemade scalloped potatoes, peas & carrots and yeast rolls.

Had Pork roast dinner today. Cooked the Joint this morning.

We are having Jewish Chicken Penicilian today, its cooking now.

We had fresh Salmon Steaks marinated in Ginger, Chilli & Lemon with a spicy vegetable stir-fry.
