You mean to say you don’t like Roast Beef Mariana? Shame on you, where’s the British in you! haha.

Sorry Linda I could not eat mashed cauliflower, yuk! cauliflower cheese, yes.

Today we had Salmon Salad.
Tonight Cheese Roll.

Cheese roll? Is that like a meal of some type or are you just eating a roll of cheese? LOL

lol, A bread roll with 2 slices of cheese inside it, eaten it now, so no more for me tonight just a cup of tea.

Oh, okay. That sounds good. I’m having a bread roll tonight as well, but with turkey and vegetables.

What vegetables inside a Bread Roll?

Lettuce, tomatoes, onions and green bell peppers

And, of course, some thin-sliced honey roasted turkey breast and bacon! Kind of like a turkey bacon club.

Ah Salad you mean, I thought you meant Cauliflower in your roll. lol x

I’m getting really fed up with supper time having a bread or roll, but what else can I eat instead, it has to be something light and no sugar or fat, but I cannot stand Cottage Cheese. Any ideas please?

Oh my goodness, no

I love cauliflower and all, but that sounds positively disgusting.

There are lots of things you can eat that don’t contain fat and sugar. The question is, what foods do you like?

Hi Linda,

Its just supper time for me.

I don’t like sloppy things, like Cottages Cheese or Cream Cheese and i’m not a fish person apart from Salmon, and don’t like lettuce, apart from that I eat almost anything.

yes, so should I–ive not been walking much as my leg is still very painfull-although last time I checked last week, I was the same–happy with that at the moment…

Well, I would suggest salads, but you don’t like lettuce. How about some homemade soups? Broth-based soups are light and if you make them homemade, you can control the amount of sodium used. Vegetable soups, chicken noodle, that sort of thing.

Eggs are another versatile food that you can do just about anything with. Omelets, scrambled eggs, hard boiled, deviled, egg salad, crustless quiches, etc.

Hi Linda,

Yes I did make a small list this morning of things, which are:

Scrambled eggs.
Chicken Kebab.
Omelette.
Homemade Soups.
Grains & Nuts.
Mexican Tuna.

How does that sound.

Having an Indian takeaway today, which consists off:

Chicken Tikka (starter)
Small portion of rice.
Small portion of Dry Veg. Curry.

Morning all.

Piri Chicken slices Salad today.

Now come on Ladies, I have written three posts on here now, with no replies from either of you.

I have managed to lose 3 stone since the middle of May 2012. it’s been quite a slow progress, but I’m where I want to be now.
I have a salad for lunch every day, with at least 3 bits of fruit. Supper is lots of veg with chicken or other protein, not many carbs, no snacks in the day and oh porridge for my breakfast with sweetner and skimmed milk.
I weighed myself first thing this morning 8st 3.75lbs - 115.75lbs - 52.4 K

Well, I’m not on the computer on Sundays, so that’s why I haven’t been around. Your list above sounds good, Susie

Homemade soups are the best. Find lots of recipes. Sometimes I’ll make a big pot of a favorite soup and have it all week for lunch.

This week for lunch I’m dropping all the heavy carby things. It’s time to change things up a little bit and I’m going to save my carby stuff (like my wraps) for one meal a day instead of two.

Wow. You’re tiny!

Jainie, I expected a big cuddly Lady, but you’re very small, you don’t need to lose any weight.

I am 2lbs under 10st.
