When i have a decent "After " photo, I may share them both !!
Sardines and salad tonight.2 good things about sardinesâthey are good for youâand dont cost muchâonly 40p a tin in SainsburysâdownsideâI do not like them that much-maybe once a month is enough !!
One thing I cannot stand is Sardines and Pilchards, yuk!
Tomorrow I am making my own Chicken Tikka Kebabs with Peppers and onions on Skewers with a Salad.
It is. I enjoyed it
Tonight is a salad with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, yellow sweet pepper, red onion and imitation crab.
Tomorrowâs lunch is a Lean Cuisine flatbread sandwich, chicken bacon ranch.
Right now I have no appetite, so hopefully Iâll be hungry enough later to eat my salad.
Hope all is well with everyone
We are still hanging on in hereâthats the main thingâŠ
Reminds me of something an older man I once knew used to say⊠anytime Iâd ask him how he was, he would come back with, âWell, Iâm above ground, so thatâs the important thing.â
Never heard that beforeâbut he has a pointâŠ
Haha, very true. Any day above ground is a good day, I suppose.
Well, Iâve just marinated my chicken cubes in Indian Tandoori spices, ready to put on the skewers for my kebabs.
mmm i am sure that will be delicious.
Had an early weigh in todayâas church is taken over and our group had to go somewhere elseâweigh in only.
I somehow managed to lose 3 1/2 poundsâmy best week, since my firat weigh inâso really pleased about that. Need to check in my journal and see what-if anythingâI did differently.
my 2nd visit to counsellor todayâstill a bit nervous even though it went well last week. Firstly my 2nd visit to my new Home Group-looking forward to that.
Well done Mariana.
Thank Susieânot very hungry today-- I had
ryvita crackerbread with cottage cheese and melon
lentils, chopped veg and a little wafer thin ham
scrambled egg with tomatoes and crab sticksâhalf a slice of toast.
Good job, girlie!
Thanks LindaâI think I am settling into my own routine nowânot letting myself be ruled by what my group leader says all the timeâshe tends to contradict herself, which gets confusing at times.
We are having today:
Chicken Breasts, Boiled Potatoes, Swede and Runner beans.
While itâs great to take ideas and suggestions from other people, itâs always best to follow your own lead and do what you feel your body wants you to do. So youâve got the right idea.
I had to look up what a swede was and Iâm a little confused⊠it describes them as a rutabaga -or- a turnip. Rutabagas and turnips are two different things, so does that mean the swede is a cross between a turnip and a rutabaga?
