Today its:

Marinated Pork Strips, sliced baked potatoes and whatever vegs.

I’m getting junk today. I’m craving Taco Bell.

Spag Bol here tonight and my stomach is feeling like my throat has been cut even though I had breakfast and lunch today

Does anyone else find that? If Im not working I can easily go all day till dinner before I eat. Work days Im clock watching for breakfast and lunch to come around

Spag Bol sounds wonderful.

And my mom used to the say the same exact thing anytime she was super hungry. She’d say ā€œMy stomach feels like my throat has been cut,ā€ and when I was a kid, I didn’t understand what she meant, lol.

Yes, I too have days where no matter how much I eat, I’m still hungry. I too can’t wait for lunch when I’m working, but at home I’ll sometimes forget to eat and I’ll look at the clock and it will be 2pm and I’ll say ā€œWow, I forgot to eat lunch.ā€

Roast Lamb, 1 Roast Potato, 1 Baked Onion, Fine Beans, Carrots, gravy.

For my dinner last night, I had a turkey bacon club wrap (I haven’t had bacon in a good long while) and cream of asparagus soup.

It’s friday. Friday is sod watching the weight day because I’m usually exhausted time I finish work

So just had another bit of spag bol for my lunch ( boxed it up last night when I was serving ) and tonight I shall be having home cooked fried chicken and chips ( well I shall bake the chicken but the chips are going to be through the pan )

I love fried chicken. And yes, even oven-fried. Fried chicken is one of my favorite things to eat. In fact, I think if I were on death row, that would be my last meal request. Fried chicken, mash with cream gravy and a side of sausage gravy over biscuits. Isn’t this beautiful?

Looks good to me Linda.

Those are my favorite comfort foods. That and chicken pot pie.

Rubbish dinner today.

Chicken Kiev, oven chips and bake beans.

Doesn’t sound too bad to me

Swap the beans for peas and I’d lap it up

Heck yes. Peas are one of my favorite things.

Its the oven chips I don’t like, I bought frozen ones from Iceland, I normally make my own chips.

I’m not a huge fan of chips, although I like them once in a while. So I’d be happy with the Chicken Kiev, beans and peas. But I agree, homemade chips are much better.

Today its Chicken Curry & Rice.

I don’t like oven chips so we have full on cooked in the pan chips

My reckoning is, when I make chips, there’s just two ingredients, potatoes and oil, nothing else. The other thing is, I’ve cut so much other junk from my life that chips once a week or two isn’t going to kill me or make much of a difference either way. And thirdly, if I fill my (small) plate up with lots of salad or veg, there’s not much room to go mad with the chips so a handful is plenty

That’s how I look at it

if on the other hand I’m thinking I want a chip and it’s not chip day, rather then oven chips, I make sweet potato wedges. Cut them, a tiny drip of oil to just about coat them where it touches, a sprinkle of salt and paprika and in the oven for 20-30 minutes. They taste nothing like chips so I don’t feel cheated  plus they are a veg and because they are orange they are supposed to be good for you

We don’t normally have chips, just on the odd occasion but when we do, I do my own Oven chips for healthy.

Small fry-up today.
