I love lentil soup.

Best laid plans and all that

didn’t get around to brunch or lunch or anything really and the chicken is still sat in the fridge  Mum got discharged from the hospital so time I drove up to get her and home again, we had a burger and salad

Today I am cooking a Pork Joint, with Roast Potato slices, with broccoli and carrots.

Its Fry-up day today.

For me tonight is a vegetarian burrito. Tomato rice, black beans, sauteed onion, shredded lettuce, sour cream, con queso and salsa, rolled up into a large tortilla and grilled. All after a healthy dose of Gordon Ramsay.

LOL

Roast Pork, R. Potato, Carrots, Swede, Gravy.

Omg did I fall off the good girl wagon yesterday or what lol

Went to the pub yesterday evening and I had a thirst so THREE pints of cider. Then of course the munchies kicked in and my friend had peanuts, so half a packet of those disappeared pretty sharpish down my neck

Came home starved, made a huge bowl of chilli chicken pasta, ate that then sat watching a film and demolished the best part of a packet of Bombay mix

It’s a miracle I didn’t explode in the night lol

So restraint is in order today. Will have scrambled eggs on toast for brunch as usual and we have steak for tonight , jacket spud, mushrooms and peas

Its a wonder you haven’t got the RUNS Missy!

Was you tipsy after 3 Pints of Cider?

More then a little

Good job I was with Mr Missy and very good friends. Not so tipsy I couldn’t cook, but I wasn’t sober by any stretch of the imagination

Have had the terrible munchies all day though, just ate half an Easter egg

We are having Chicken Casserole today with vegetables.

Today its Chicken Curry & Rice.

Roast Pork Joint today.

Roast pork here as well ( which I hate )

I will jazz it up a bit with some mustard and maple syrup, slice it thin and I’ll manage to eat it

We can’t get decent pork here at all, totally tasteless. Used to love it when I lived in England

I bought my joint from Aldi in the fresh meat department, got 4 meals out of it, just finished our dinner it was nice.

This is a loin joint from Lidl. There’s nothing wrong with it, just in England I always bought outdoor reared pork from Hampshire which was delicious

Pork farming here in the north isn’t big business and what there is is intensive farmed so doesn’t really have much of a flavour

I eat very little meat but what I do eat I like to taste. So I studded it with a bit of garlic and used muscavado sugar ( couldn’t find the maple ) and Coleman’s mustard. It’s resting now and hopefully will me moist and yummy

I have no idea what I’m eating today. Nothing sounds good.

Today we had:

Homemade Chicken Curry, Rice and Garlic Bread.

How was the Pork, Missy?

using up the pork in a stir fry with lots of gutsy flavours

Im really hungry today, Im looking forward to it already

Today its:

Smoked Haddock, Boiled potatoes, Cauliflower Cheese & Carrots.

Roast Pork, baked onion, r. potato, swede, carrots & gravy.
