Well-I am older than that—so you can imagine how i feel—so i guess even at half a pound a week—in a whole year that is nearly 2 stone !!

And I look at it this way… a half pound loss is better than a half pound gain! It’s normal for weight to fluctuate up and down, but down is definitely better, no matter how much.
Well, I lost another pound. The scale finally budged. Barely, but it budged.
Looking forward to lunch today. I’m having a big salad with red onion, corn, a mix of iceberg lettuce and baby spinach and BBQ shrimps.
Today I had:
Breakfast: 2 Toast, butter. Tea.
Dinner: Chicken Kiev, 2 boiled pots. Cabbage & Swede.
Supper: Probably Cornbeef Sandwich.
That chicken Kiev sounds good. I think for supper I’ll have a repeat of last night because it was so yummy… a turkey bacon club wrap. I eat a lot of tortillas because I use them to wrap up so many different things.
well done Linda—at least you moved more than me. I get so mad sometimes, because I have a friend-a man friend–who was out for a curry in the week, plus all Sunday afternoon drinking whiskey–and he lost 2 pounds this week–at SW.
I was out for lunch today–
usual breakfast-crispbread, cottage cheese, pineapple
lunch out–gammon, and vegetables
tonight–pasta salad
later a yoghurt.
I adore cottage cheese, it’s one of my favorite things. Especially with mash. I don’t know why, but ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved that combination of foods and sometimes I’ll even mix them together, as weird as that sounds.
oh my—i have never heard of cottage cheese and mash–I hate mash anyway. i never had cottage cheese as a child-i do not think it was around then…
But I get through 2 large cartons of Low fat cottage cheese a week–mostly on crispbread–but today I am making a pastry free quiche—which mises eggs with cottage cheese–plus any veg you want to add==peppers, onions…
I tasted some at a taster session at Slimming world this week–it was delicious !!

Today for lunch/dinner, I’m having 2 salmon patties and a bunch of mixed veg. Not sure about tonight. It’s Friday and we usually do pizza on Friday, but I have to be in the mood for pizza, so most of the time I just get a veggie sub.
And okay, I’ve got to make these soon…

Salmon patties sounds good-I eat loads of salmon–do you make them too ??
Yes, I make my own salmon patties from canned salmon. Occasionally I’ll use fresh salmon, but mostly canned. I add chopped onion to the mix and sometimes, if I have them on hand, chopped bell pepper (green, red, yellow, etc).
My favorite way to eat salmon patties is with pea sauce.
Today was:
Breakfast: 2 slices of Toast, butter. Tea.
Dinner: Salmon Salad. Water.
Supper: One buttered roll. Tea.
Breakfast: Bran Flakes, soy milk. tea.
Dinner: Indian Take-away, no curry, but a Shamee starter.
Supper: Crackers maybe?
Hiya Folks,haven’t been around for a wee while as I’ve been busy decorating/gardening etc’…I always find when I’m really busy I don’t think about food,and usually lose a few Lbs…I’ve also cut down more on bread & Potatoes and am eating more salads,fish,chicken & home made veg’ soups…onwards and downwards All
Hi May–good to see you back—busy is good–always easier when the weather improves–i just made a huge amount of tomato soup yesterdasy–enough for 8 portions—I just take one out add add some extras day by day–beans, pasta, veg etc etc.i have cut down on bread so much, i never thought thast i could–i have maybe 2 slices a week–one loaf lasts ages !!!

I must try them–I have a tin of salmon—its very rare that i buy tinned food–but just thought it would make a change.

OMG, I have eaten too much Indian food, I feel full up, bloated and sick, decided not to have anything else to eat today. I must cut some of my food down, its going to be salad tomorrow.
Oh dear–I expect your stomach is getting used to less food–does not know whats hit it lol
