To anyone who didn’t receive a card, from me, I’m really sorry.
What with Covid, Lockdowns, Cold Weather, the rising interest rates, the Tories, the Labour Party, secret Parties, Brexit, Macron, etc. it’s been a difficult year,
To anyone who didn’t send a Christmas Card, to me, what a shower of miserable beggars you are!

Hell I shouldn’t say anything. The only one who sends me a card is my doctor. I think she’s just checking to make sure I’m around.

Mine got up and left a long time ago 
I have taken to e cards…I received a lovely one by post from friends in the UK today and the postage was £1.80… sorry as I’d rather give to an animal charity to be honest…flip side is it was sent with so much thought and love… not sure you can get that conveyed with text /e cards though…
I agree Dianne, however pretty the e-card a real one is nicer
On a loosely related subject, Mrs Dex has taken over the role of baking Christmas Cakes for some family/friends. Her mother used to do this until a couple of years ago.
I estimate that it costs about £18 per cake (including icing, brandy etc), plus another £8 ish to post them.

I reckon there must be somewhere these missing ‘get up and goes’ meet up,
mine’s also got up and gone!
Maybe they all meet up for a boozy party, have a really good time and then
they just disappear again!
