I have signed a number of such petitions and when the outcomes are eventually announced I am dismayed to read the same old response: āthe government find that they are unable to make the suggested changes for this, that or some other reason.ā
I have every expectation that this particular one will not be any different.

He dumbed down the education system so that any Tom, Dick, or Harriet could be admitted to universities to study useless courses and to hide the true level of unemployment. And, it was he, in case you donāt remember, that introduced tuition fees with his Teaching and Higher Education Act 1998.
Not a good record, is it? Mass murder, no, or poorly paid jobs for the indigenous population, and the ruination of an education system that was once the envy of the world.
