And as for RS saying Charles and Di would still be together now, if it weren’t for Camilla, I seriously doubt that. I don’t think Charles ever loved Diana in the way he should have.
It was just a pity he married such a young naive girl in the first place, and from what we saw, I think they were worlds apart, and eventually, it all turned against them.
Both nice people in their own way, but not compatible enough to endure a lifetime together, IMO.
Worse were the parents that didn’t dissuade her, as at 19 years old, she was still a kid.
I suppose, it was the kudos of her marrying the future king of England that made him a good catch.
I might be h armless but you should see my legs.
Artangel there is a very good reason why I like women, and that is my first wakeing experience when born was with a woman. When a baby one gets squashed against a breast yet in later life mainly denied the pleasure. No wonder us men get confused
Well l think it’s all the queen’s fault?
She insisted Charlie didn’t marry Familia because she was
allready married, then she produced Dianna from the old boys
network and convinced Charlie to marry her instead !!
The rest, as they say, is history ??
Donkeyman!
And that is precisely why I said earlier, he should never have married Diana in the first place. They weren’t suited, and all the years of anguish and pain would have been avoided.
I do however, think Charles genuinly cares for Camilla - and vice versa.
When Charles married Dianna I think it was expected that the system would work in the same way as it always had done. Dianna’s function was to produce a few Royal children and behave regally. Charles probably thought that once that was sorted, he would be free to go off and behave like his ancestors. Well he didn’t take into account that times had changed.
I think there’s probably some truth in that, Harbal.
Charles won’t be the first (or last) King to enjoy infedility.
It was just so sad that Diana was too young and naive to handle it better. I doubt she got much help or advice either.
Then again, none of us here know the whole truth. We don’t know them personally and never will, so we will only ever have the journalists and mud slingers point of view.
