Hi Mups human 
it’s good to hear Mups is ‘perky’ and that would give me encouragement and be an indication that waiting a few days for the vet of your choice isn’t going to make a lot of difference other than having extra time to worry.
You can’t do much about things at the moment but you can enjoy the sunshine with Mups, it will do you both good x
Do you know Meg, that extraordinary vet of mine just phoned me this afternoon to discuss an email I had sent his surgery.
I had asked the girls there to please make sure he received it when he comes back to work on the 29th.
Unbeknown to me, they forwarded it to him at home, and he not only read it, he phoned me this afternoon to discuss it. The man is not even at work, he is on holiday! That is dedication for you. And that is precisely why I want him for my ‘Mini Mups’, because of his dedication and attitude to his patients.
One more thing he said. He openly admitted he might be wrong (and he hopes so), but at the moment he is thinking along the lines of a possible lung tumour. But time will tell won’t it. She is happy at the moment anyway. 
Nice to know you have such a good relationship with your vet, he sounds lovely. I do hope it’s not a lung tumour and good to hear little Mups is happy Please do try not to worry too much.

Trouble is, I was not expecting that horrid news when I only took her in for her bleeding paw and a blood test.
I was unprepared, so it hit me rather hard.
I have been searching for my sensible head today, and found it tucked away in the shed this afternoon so now I have that back on, I have decided not to worry too much until she goes in for her x-rays and scans on the 29th.
On that day I shall disintegrate into a pool of tears when I leave her at the vets and drive home without her :-(, BUT it may not be as bad as we fear yet, so I shall keep my sensible head on until I know.
Does that sound a better idea?

You’re going to worry, it wouldn’t be natural to do otherwise. But keeping it in perspective is what counts…easier said than done I know.
