Metric or Imperial

Hi

Deleted, avoiding the bots

I’m so sorry about your problems. But I think this is not the right forum?

Certainly not the right thread, anyway?

But how can you start a wrong thread; how as he managed that? :017:

:hugs: But you’re back home now?

I suppose the Metric and Imperial Measures thread has wandered off topic and he’s trying to start a new one… about metric and imperial measures!

I was with you until you said Metric and Imperial Measures for the second time

Imperial every time.

Metric is easier, though. I don’t think my head could stand going back to pounds, shillings and pence, as much as I do have a great nostalgia for them

Isn’t that decimal rather than metric?

I still think in imperial and imagine size in imperial and have to do a mental conversion.

I don’t know, but if it is, can’t we just pretend it isn’t?

Sure, why not…

I foresee two threads being merged!

That’s no way to treat threads. Threads should be free to go where they will. :018:

I’m not surprised Folk get mixed up trying to start a new thread,I’ve never attempted it and I never will…I’ll just leave it to all You cleverclogs,
As for metric/imperial measurements,

I’m 5 feet 6 inches tall,
I weigh 11 stones,
I wear size 5/6 shoes,
I buy milk by the pint,
My nearest City is 8 miles away,
I guess I’m just old fashioned,
so…shoot Me,
