More of less finished
Fabulous Muddy. Very atmospheric.
Thank you
I am quite pleased with it only took me a couple of hours as it was done with acrylic paint which dries very quickly .
I have so enjoyed catching up with this thread. I do miss an awful lot on here, just because of the way threads are organised. I forget to search them out. So here I am, after I did a bit of a search and goodness me, @Muddy, your talent is boundless. I absolutely love the one of your son - will it be a gift to him? I’m sure he’ll be chuffed to bits with it!
Thank you yes it is a present if I ever get to go to Australia again !
I did one of him and one of his partner ( have changed the background yet again )
that’s lovely
Beautiful portrait! Gosh they will be so thrilled with these when you can manage to get them to Australia!
I’ve just found this thread again. Beautiful artwork . Your son is handsome Muddy . Oh I wish I had talent like yours .
Thank you for your kind words susan
I am suprised you found it because I sometimes can’t find it myself .
Wow! You are really good at doing humans too. I’ve never taken an interest in painting them but yours are very good.
Thank you Bratti but the main thing about a portrait is that it is a likeness and I haven’t quite got it in the way I can with animals .
Well you’d know that better than anyone.
I was meaning more that you are competent enough to paint skin textures, face shadows and stubble as well as creating distinct mood so the audience connects to the character. Most people don’t get that far.
Got to get started on something
Have run out of stuff but have found a small piece of board so trying a little painting .
Looking forward to your progress, Muddy…
Looking good Muddy, love the gloss appearing on his coat….
