God its hot found some of my paints have got baked in the sun oh dear .
Anyway not inspired so have reverted to type doing this little Gipsy Vanner .
can’t decide to do oils or acrylics so have started the underpainting in acrylics and then will decide .
This is my version of the Grislaille technique.

And this is what happens when you inadvertently pick up the wrong paint proving once more that oil and water don’t mix !

I have struggled with this little chap my paints are sticky maybe the got cooked in the hot weather.

I feel if I was to stroke his upper lip it would be like silk and his mane soft. Wish I was,talented

Actually I want to say her upper lip and mane it would be soft and silky , because she is pretty

I like this it’s very atmospheric I can almost hear that train a coming !

Two more starters ( well I have got the oil paints all over the kitchen table so may as well )

I did the sketch of this 30+ years ago and never got any further so trying again .

One little dog
Never done a dog in oils so giving it a go

Just have to put the whiskers on
I have done this in alla primera which means painting wet on wet
