not quite mastered as yet…;-
This has a great connection to a lost one for me, a true mate taken much too soon.
tried to add the song…
From Russell Watson Album 20
Song…Someone To Remember Me…
Thanks for doing that. sometimes on another forum it would be displayed correctly and sometimes just a link…guess it’s down to the weather…can’t be me, surely:cool:
Kodaline …
That’s incredible, never heard of them before, what audience participation, in the pissing rain.
Bret your tutorial posts won’t play !
There must be an easier way to get the YouTube video up . As a member has just said ,doing what I’ve done on another forum , Share /Copy it would have been up there instantly .
I like to read up when I come across a good one… usually end up on Wiki…
there is another video in the rain that I love but right now struggleling with my words so if this is mash it is because I may be dyslexic many family members are actually loads…but I just got good at edits…kodaline…
dedicated to those peeps in my life… that take time out for me and treat me as a human being…mostly do not question me or judge me…
I have loads of these that I love, but I only ever share usually in a group or personally. It’s a nice thread, but the songs in my eyes are beautiful. So probably why I keep personal.
Following all the music threads.
Lyrics:
Every time I shed tears
In the last past years
When I pass through the hills
Oh, what images return
Oh, I yearn
For the roots of the woods
That origin of all my strong and strange moods
I lost something in the hills
I lost something in the hills
I grew up in declivities,
others grow up in cities
where first love and soul takes rise
there where times in my life
when I felt mad and deprived
and only the slopes gave me hope
When I pass through the leg high grass, I shall die
under the jasmine, I shall die
in the elder tree
I need not try to prepare for a new coming day
Where is it that fills the deepness I feel?
You will say I’m not Robin the Hood
but how could I hide from top to foot
that I lost something in the hills,
I lost something in the hills
Oh, I lost something in the hills
Now I lean on my window sill
and I cry, though it’s silly
and I’m dreaming of off and away
Oh, I know further west these hills exist
marked by apple trees,
marked by a straight brook
that leads me wherever I want it to
Well I lost something in the hills
I lost something in the hills
Oh, I lost something in the hills
