Leisurely Scribbles (part 5) (Part 1)

woke up early am instantly thinking about Michael Caine in the film “Little Voice” - a nice feel good north of england movie!

your poetry is definitely improving Jem - keeping it to a two line stanza is a good idea - we can’t lose the plot that way !

I do love a good funeral brings out the beast in people - seen a few funny ones in Heart Beat - watched a few session of that show but the last few episodes got a bit corney with Phil Bellamy getting knocked off at last and Oscar getting pinned to a farm machinery ready for barbecuing - urghh!!

their productions were a bit wonky at times - dispatching a villain in one series only to bring him back as a sweet family man 15 series later - as if we wouldn’t notice ! the music I definitely loved to bits - my era - our era! but I never got over losing greengrass!

Apropos of nuffink,Gummy…I actually went to see Little Voice in London.
Diana Vickers was the star…but in truth, the whole cast was superb.

I don’t often go to live theatre performances-the last one was to see Brian Conley and Gok Wan in Cinderella [bloody hilarious, due to the non-stop ad-libs] and prior to that,it was Jim Davidson…and he was MAGIC.
Despite and whatever the papers and the ‘political correctness’ lot say, that bloke is a TREAT to see live.

There was a time when Scribblers never needed to read back, call me old fashioned.

Sorry I have neglected you.
Please forgive me as you do
I get carried away on other threads
At times I think I need two heads
But fear not my Possums I am still here
I have to sort that Gummy and beer
But now I fear I am feeling weary
I am getting to be a little dreary

Try to be
Everything to everyone
Then think Stuff it
And butter a scone.

Do you say scone as in stone, or scone as in Ron?

I NEVER knew you could read backwards spittie - wot a marvel you are and a brum too! a backwards reading brum or maybe just a backwards brum?

Ron, always butter scone, lateRON

never heard of any of 'em - that proves I must be OZ - try a bit further across - say Nu Zealand?

I could never aspire to being a backwards Brum, that is unthinkable.

Can I butter you up?

No, my logic is not Spreadable.

Sorry seems to be the hardest word.
