Leisurely Scribbles (part 5) (Part 1)

Yes:lol:

As far as I know, that is true.

well what sort of ‘love’ is that then??

Unconditional I suppose.
Now come on Gummy you have more experience than me in these matters. You are supposed to educate me in such things.

yep unconditional but I think a mixture of agape and filial and eros - all mixed in together - pretty smart birds heh!!

Yes even the ugly ducklings:mrgreen:

who ever said they were ugly ducklings - nothing ugly about them see - so watch it!!

he’s not an ugly ducklin - see films stuff it up again he’s a lovely little boy ! - ugly is a reflection of the viewer!

Made before I was born.
I must look for more.

well whatever ya lookin for make sure it’s not out of focus!!

Blimey

He won’t mention it to you,Sweetie…but his former classmates STILL talk about the day gumbud was part of their school nativity play…but he hadn’t mentioned his dyslexia,so when he made his grand entrance onto the school stage, with everyone in the hall agog and attentive…he walked on as Pontius Pilates, dressed in a spandex goat!

that’s not funny it’s givin me a headache and a heartache and ah heart beat??

ah happy talk yeh!!~

Happy Talk yay from South Pacific:lol:
On phone can’t post it:-(

That is quite humorous.

I hope no one remembers the day my trousers collapsed.

Love is more of an earthly thing, it’s not permanent, whereas happiness is promised to the good after death in most greeds and is eternal. One can be in love for one’s entire lifetime but then it ends, happiness is total peace of mind, freedom from all earthly needs and inflictions, and is forever, happiness is clearly the winner here therefore happiness is the bigger of the two.
I think the true test of real love for a living person is that you would give your own life so they could live, providing the situation arose of course, I’m afraid I can’t see an awful lot of people lining up for that kind of love, but there you have it like it or not. I would never have any doubt in answering that call if the situation came about with my dear wife, but then as the old Lonnie Donegan song goes “Nobody Loves Like an Irishman” I rest me case yer honour.

We finished off the last day of Ascot in style up in the local, and the icing was on the cake when the Irish trained and Australian owned horse ‘Merchant Navy’ won the big race, we all had a tenner on it @4/1.
There was music and song all round and then the dancing, old Lizzie Lynch shakes a cool leg and never makes any false moves.
