Crikey I can’t even start packing!!!
You two are in detention!!!

Now can you guys explain why I cannot take the kitchen sink?

pugsie you’re good at sinks seein as you were a jacktar??

Stop skirting the issue, and answer the question.

you can take the bloody kitchen sink - it just needs to be put in form and wrapped up properly and then handed over to the customs officer and tell him that Pugsie said it was OK right??

Well ACTUALLY,fikko, that phrase is first credited [ohhh,boy-how come I know such useless trifling rubbish WITHOUT having to resort to the dreaded ‘googlitt’???] to 1894-it refers to a wife selling the family home on behalf of her husband,John, who is away on military duties…and goes something like “I sold the chicken and got a dollar. I got everything but the kitchen stove”…now, here in civilisation,we use sinks and stoves…but of the two,it’s the sink that is the more difficult to remove and transport. Especially as at that time most homes were rented or had multi-tenancies. Now QUIET,gumbud-finish colouring in your homework.
