Talking of ears Gummy Bear, have you ever had a cauliflower one? Or maybe you just grow carrots in those lugholes:mrgreen:
Please don’t start talking about Moby Dick, I have had enough of whales today. Why do they have such names?
Thought I would have a wander along the beach, grab an ice cream and ponder the world. Change of plan when I saw the queues and saw the holiday prices being charged. Right miffed I am.
When we had the STOP ME AND BUY ONE tricycles we never had this trouble. Bring em back I say along with those wafers, brickettes and choc bars
and give away our addictions to the internet?
I remember a time before the 'net when communication with the rest of the world didn’t seem to matter much and so we concentrated on our immediates and got fun out of them without constant barrages and headaches from the rest of the world - there was something in that we’ve lost - the Pie in the sky series reminds me of those days? [and HK of course!]
The numbers are getting less complex by the day.
I had a whale of a time earlier.
Then other times I get ignored.
You are to sensitive, bit like Gummy.
avast sir ; avast ; draw out your little scabard and stick yourself in the left buttock!
you mean 000100010001 etc etc? the treble zero is the 1
We are near the Binary faction, it grieves me to admit that.
Is that your phone number Gummy Bear?
we are all grieving with ya spittie - january; february and binary too!
but didn’t you mean binary fraction - or were you within a fraction of making it frack?
now there’s a foreboding word ‘fracking’ - “to whence to you go today spittie - oh just off to do a bit of fracking with the good lady!!”
well ya can try it hun?
Fractious is less effort.
During my nocturnal omissions (dreamless sleep) last night I dreamed a prophetic world truth, magnificent in its humanity, breathtaking in its clarity, compelling in its hope for our world leaders mutual unilateral, unconditional positive regard…
I wrote it down somewhere, now where did I put it?
As my dear departed Dad was fond of saying
“Dream on Rob”
That rreminds me El Spitola…jstao
Fer gawds sake Robert have you found that bit of paper yet ?
We are eagerly waiting for those prophetic world truths, magnificent in there humanity, breathtaking in there clarity, compelling in there hopes for our world leaders mutual unilateral, unconditional positive something or other.
Mind you as my old Pater used to say "if you can’t remember, it must have been a lie "
Who knows what wonders lay ahead, what will we be using after digital has run it’s course?
There is a great need for electrical personal power, batteries are obsolete, awkward, unreliable, and costly, the only reason we still use them is because there is too much profit in making them.
Taking human evolution into account, and the need to be able to transport a fair amount of personal electrical power around I can foresee the advent of “The Power Hump”, or “Quasimeter” six inches in diameter and four inches high it will evolve naturally on future generations and be capable of producing up to 50 watts of power night and day. Of course this will require a special type of diet, a whole new mili billion dollar business will be created to produce the new body fuel, naturally the ingredients will be top secret but I have a sneaky suspicion Guinness will be involved.:-)
In the meantime I have been working on a temporally measure, a solar hat, one can use many designs, trilby, cap, bowler, and for that extra power boost, a sombrero. This device doubles as a satellite dish (just unhinge the top part) and one can have TV and internet wherever one goes.
Sorry folks but that’s what comes from spending too many hours in ones shed.
Is it better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all?
In my opinion it is very important for an adult to have loved another adult, love is such a big part of human life, no man/woman is an island and as Englebert Lumpofstink sang “Lonely is a man without love”
I’m not usually a country an western fan, although Phyllis can’t get enough of country music, but I do like this singer and particularly this tune, Sweetie would you be kind enough to do the dots, slashes, brackets, double full stops etc., on this youtube song, "Our town” by Iris Dement, I just know Gummy will love it, and we all want to keep him happy don’t we.
I hope Fruitcake is alright, I miss the old devil here, give him my regards.
I’m off now to the shed to invent something else.
