I think Spitty has gone to his bed.
So don’t go involving him;-)
oh not to worry he’ll be back for a little wine!

God bless all here, and there and those who know not whether they’re here nor there.
“shingle bells shingle bells - did we do that one Jem?”
Yes we did Shingle bells Gummy but we didn’t do the Guy Mitchell line from his song “The Roving Kind” “And her hair hung down in shinglets” I wouldn’t like to be going out with her.;-)
I hope the sick scribblers are feeling a bit better today, seriously it’s not funny being laid up in miserable weather like this, or any weather for that matter, I sincerely wish you all well.
The great thaw is on now and I’m surprised how rapidly the snow is disappearing, thank God for that.
Yes, we are all thawed out, and the sun is shining.
I was reading about Young Robert, I never knew he had been so poorly:-(
Shame on me for not paying attention!
Hugs to all.
RJ inspires us all Sweetie, he very very rarely complains, he’s a genuinely good chap and a gentleman to boot, now who want’s to boot him first?:-)
Nah Jem I prefer hugging - Sorry:lol:
He don’t need Booting, Re-Booting maybe.
Ah, no Spitty.
I have caught YOU at last.
I’d like to think I made myself available.
But too late! I am going to bed.
Good Night Possums.
who let those bloody possums in again! - RJ’s a flirt! very subtle - aren’t you robert?
A little ditty regarding consummation of love;
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Poppy doesn’t wear any,
well,why waste time…grrr!
well thanks Pugsie I think that very nicely runs into M.A.S.H.
just been watching some re-runs and the finale too. My sentiments have run from hot to cold to hot again. of course Mash only depicted the American involvement in the war despite the reality that France, Cuba, South Africa, Ethiopia, Belgium Thailand, Australia, Turkey, Canada and Bolivia were also involved either with men or supplies.
Regardless the show for me is a comic show whilst at the same time describing the brutality of war itself. Many of the actors have of course passed on - the show ran for 11 yrs 4 yrs longer than the actual war. If you google the topic you will find not only full episodes but the final show which I had never viewed. In addition there are lots of interviews with the remaining actors and disclosures of hidden secrets!
Britains forgotten war!
