Leisurely Scribbles (part 5) (Part 1)

Completely off track.
No one will know that I collect WW1 postcards.

One of them I treasure because the message on the back reads
Nothing to report, give my regards to Tom & Dick
love Harry

Was it a con?
I have another addressed to Rev Jack Russell.
?

we have many tracks here RJ - you can hop from one to the other if you like!!

ya spot on there Jem most super groups complain about their lack of private life and guard it seriously. I remember reading that when the beatles played the Philippines they couldn’t get a day off and refused to hang out with the President Marcos and his 3000 shoe wife - they had to make a mad dash to the airport chased by police!!

all international personalities guard their privacy jealously and only enjoy the fans when they are on stage!

I come to you with great sadness in my heart today.
Keep your fun, I love to read it.
It helps me with my loss.
Sweetie xxxxxxx

sweetie pie I am sure that we would all love to give you a hug a long hug to ease your sadness but not really possible

Hi guys,
Any of you like Prog Rock from the 60s and 70s?

I have brought you guys another guy.
I know you will make him welcome.
He is a lovely guy - just like you lot.

Thanks, Pie!

Sorry for your loss Sweetie. May he rest in perpetual peace.

Thank-you Jem.
You have a newbie here.

Hello and welcome Bobby, we talk about anything and everything in here except political discussion, nothing has to make sense and you can take everything with a pinch of salt.
Some of us are a bit long in the tooth too so don’t let old fashioned stuff bother you, we can’t help going backwards as there not much foreword left.
We have a right international bunch here now and if you don’t understand what we’re saying don’t worry. neither do we.
Sweetie Pug Spitfire and Gumbud are the ones for the progressive music, I’m more of a traditional Irish music fan, although I liked most of the 1960’s pop music, British and American, loved Del Shannon’s and Bobby Vee’s stuff. I’m still learning how to post youtube video’s.
Great to have you along, so jump in anytime you feel like it.;-)

Thank you very much for the warm welcome! Don’t worry, I’m old fashioned, too! Cheers Jem.

Good Evening, Back Soon, my Suppers Ready, there is only one thing I know about Americanos.

Bobby, my son went to America in 1998. It was noisy. He is quiet like me

He made a return visit in 2010 as part of a 10 week “world tour” before settling down to start a family.
The USA trip was awesome & he came back with pics and souvenirs galore. \he may well have been in your vicinity

welcome to scribbles, don’t let anything faze you

I’ve still got some twisted rock with blackpool written through it from the 50’s???

nothing lovely aboot us lot we’re all fake!

I’m still learning how to post youtube video’s.

ha ha ha ha!! - another funny joke from the house of Jem!

https://s26.postimg.org/zakahocuh/8c12625f-a3f2-4408-a0ab-25314ba5f631.jpg This is the only shot I could get of a bottle of the very rare Plain Label ‘Phucku’ Sherry, 7 years to mature at 45 quid a bottle and a lovely evening drink it is too, highly recommended.
I’ll never forget the time when the wife and me were having an evening out and I ordered a bottle of it as a special treat for us. When we finished the waiter came over and asked did we want anything else, I said “Yes… Phucku” then he said “Phucku too, I only asked”
Needless to say we were disgusted, paid the bill and walked out.

 It’s so hard to get good tutors these days isn’t it.

I will be having another go on monday when all the work is finished and the household is back to normal again, the new bathroom is gorgeous, it would be a mortal sin to have a crap in there now.
