I have been doing a lot of bird watching -I can do this lying in bed such a lot of amazing brightly coloured birds arrive on the deck every morning and early evening .
The cat likes to bird watch too
Just now ( it’s night ) I am watching two possums on the deck I find it’s fascinating .they can obviously see us but don’t seem bothered they comes every night .
This is one of the possums.
It’s a rotten photo the doors you see are actually reflections .

I have also been hunting unsuccessfully for extra masks for our homeward journey ( I bought two the day I arrived just in case ) but now there are none available anywhere . .
Saw this fellow out walking today
He’s called a Land Mullet and is a type of Skink .
It’s very interesting seeing the wildlife there, Muddy

How long are you away for. I wish I was there with you, something I can only dream about. How wonderful for your son living out there. It looks like another world.

Such beautiful coloured birds Muddy.
Makes our pigeons and sparrows look awfully drab.
You say about not being able to get face masks, it’s the same here with hand sanitizing gell too. Can’t get any round here for love nor money.

He’s being dreadfully spoilt my DIL has just sent me a pic of him lolling on their bed .
( we don’t allow this ) but their bed is a medley of kids dogs and cats .

Well our holiday in
Australia is drawing to a close .
I have loads of pics that I have refrained from imposing upon you all.
But he is one I have taken not five minutes ago .
My son on his deck and a wild parrot that just flew up and ate from his hand .
What a lovely life over there Muddy, it’s like being home with nature.

My last day in Australia and it’s heaving down in Brisbane .
Tomorrow we catch the morning flight to Hong Kong masks at the ready .
