Almost the same for me, other than it’s the only day in the year that immediate family are all together at the same time. That means we can enjoy a meal together, hence the ‘Sunday’ roast mentioned in my previous post. Families used to be like this most of the time but not any longer it seems. Another loss to society generally I believe.
It will just be me and the internet and some PC gaming and perhaps a vodka or two.

That’s a real shame…
We are going to have a houseful. A dozen or so for Christmas day and seven of the family for a couple of weeks. Where abouts do you like?
Every thing is digital and changes itself. Only thing I have to set is my watch. If I could really turn back the clock trust me it would be more than an hour.

(Yes I know but we never - NEVER - use the word.)
I really does not bother at all. 
Susie Dent mentioned this on Countdown several months ago. You can be gruntled but it’s gone out of common usage.

Oh well. I do some games too. I used to play Scrabble on the board game. Now I do the electronic version of Words With Friends. It’s just like Scrabble.
