Japanese Food anyone?

Eeel Pie - tried that once not keen.

I have tried them - once - just not something I would want to try again.

If you live near enough to the ocean where fresh fish is caught, it’s worth a try. If not, you might be getting frozen fish that’s thawed out. That doesn’t taste the same but maybe more food safe.

Smell for freshness and look for slimieness to avoid.

I am so lucky I can get this just by crossing the road to a nearby house! The husband of our local cafe owner makes it, and I can buy a portion from him. Had some the other day.

Lovely, you are lucky, I’d be over there all the time :yum:

I think ‘Wagamama’ is sort of Japanese food?
I only went there once… Yuk :face_vomiting:

Nasty stuff - oriental equivalent of MacDs. You never ever see any Japanese people eating in either of the ones in York!

I love Japanese food, regularly have sushi evenings with Mrs Bread at Sakura in Bury St Edmunds.

I love it too, I’ve been fancying it again ever since that meal out!

This is the one I’m craving!

I have to wait for him to message me, saying he is making some. It is not all the time, thankfully.

I bet that’s a nice message to get, though:+1::rofl:

Have you ever tried making your own, Jazzi?

No, because the liquor is made up of the liquid that cooks jellied eels. And I refuse to eat jellied eels.
