Well, the lumbar puncture went as well as expected. I had to lye down for 30 minutes after and promptly fell asleep.
I’m not doing anything very active for a few hours after. I felt I was stoic.as all my procedures, but did need the diazepam yesterday as it’s a pretty gruelling procedure.
Is anazing how much blood they require for an infususion and mine is a rare group - A+.
Everyone you may notice a big decrease in the number of my posts. And it shouldn’t be beeches I’m short of credit; it’s just the agony of trying to sign in at times. I’m also having problems with the keyboard itself.
2 Psychiatrists came to see me although I can barely remember them before. I think they were intrigued by the uniqueness of my situation. A patient with fevers that have no obvious cause.
I think they were just making sure on your MH, the turmoil you have endured Dreamy, many would have given up.
You are strong, and like I have said many times, it is your will to go on that makes a difference.
What they are going to do is cease all treatment then start from scratch once more.I felt a little deflated upon hearing this news but it proves that they don’t know what they are dealing with.
So on one hand I’m happy that nothing has got worse but neither has it got better. The Consultant has reassured me that I won’t be getting any Lumbar puncture’s again ( which is a good thing) but I’m not feeling any better,either.
I must try and be stoic but I’ve been here since the 14th and we’re still at step one, it’s now the 29th so that’s half a month in hospital. Will I be at home for Christmas?
I can physically feel it when my blood temperature is about to spike and it’s been twice a day.
I think the question has been raised before, but it’s absolutely fine for any of you to prey.for me. My outlook has tended to be that Christians and Muslims, and those of other faiths tend to be very nice people.
