Is your hair its natural colour?

Sorry, wasn’t sure where to post this thread.

So, have you let your hair go it’s natural colour or have you dyed it?

I have coloured my hair for a long time now, I think I have got to a certain age and realised natural is best,…hopefully if my skin test goes well on Tuesday they will colour it as close as possible to my natural colour of salt and pepper grey…wish me luck as I hope it’s not to much of a shock…… I am going to embrace my natural colour, which would probably suit me more …I have viewed quite a few hair colour transformations online, where they went back to their natural colour, which suited them so much better.

They’ll have to drag me kicking and screaming into grey!

I haven’t coloured my hair for a couple of months now, and its still mid brown with a few grey hairs. Ah well. I’m wearing a hat most days anyway, so I don’t mind.

I thought like that as well at one time, why do some of us ladies fear “ grey”…I couldn’t bear the thought of going grey, I seem to be embracing the idea of it now, I think because I’ve come to realise that this unnatural colour doesn’t suit me now at this age, so, what the heck, :grinning:

I have slowly glided into my second natural colour gracefully over the years without any help of colouring. It wasn’t such a shock that way! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

My hair is white, not grey. My wife’s too without colour is snow white, but she has it coloured back to how it used to be, a very pale Scandinavian blonde.

I wish mine were white, I’ve seen it on woman and it looks so beautiful and sophisticated, also on men, the doctor who gave me my booster jab had white hair, he looked so distinguished, I couldn’t stop staring at him.:heartpulse:

I have Grey Hair on the top only…so the lower hair is I would say mouse coloured…so never have I left it for too long with colouring and streaking… it look’s weird and so it is never crossed my mind to leave it like that…

I have a particular friend here who dyes her hair a lot. She had her own hairdressing saloon in the UK, guess that is one reason.

The last time I saw her was before last Christmas collecting our mouse2house third party delivery of UK foods we all wanted…

She was all grey haired and I was shocked at the way she looked…was like looking at a much much older female…

I have noticed quite a few stars on the TV going back their grey hair and so maybe that is what has given you the idea…

I use now L’Oreal Excellence Creme as finding it lasts a lot longer without fadiing. Nice 'N Easy was the one I had used previously and that one I found the Sun stripped it real fast…Even bought a Sun Hat, but not a hat person at all…

For a long time I have always wanted a professional to colour my hair, I have used all different types of labels including L’Oréal as well as Nice N Easy,…so I’m letting the expert loose, so he best live up to his excellent reputation on colouring, I’ve read many of his reviews.

Sure going to a professional your bound to get good results. Finding them very expensive here for colouring and streaking…
My daughter was a great hairdresser, so now thinking that is why it all seems so damn expensive to me… :slightly_smiling_face:

I have always coloured my hair (Plum) but this year not being to well, I have not bothered, so there is Brown/Grey now.

Yes, I was born a redhead and intend to stay that way! The half of my head that is starting to rebel gets a treat of hair color to blend back into my natural shade.

Vanity of vanities.

Grey. It is what it is, and I’m a great believer in letting nature take its course, come what may.

Plus, it happens to complement my botoxed lips and forehead.

My good lady has a regular appointment with her specialist Paris in her establishment, Simply Hair. I’m no expert, but I will say that Paris’ skills are certainly noticed my me and appreciated by my darling, so money well spent :+1:
Paris also serves two of my daughters too and they always seem well turned out and very pleased.

Me too, was a natural ginger.
Now I have gold colour all over with darker red streaks and white streaks (suspect my natural colour!) so I’m kind of streaky!
I just sit there and say “Do what you like!”

P.S. I don’t fear grey Pauline, just don’t admire it much, I like having fun with my hair.
Always threatened to go blue one day!!!
