Is Trump the most corrupt/dishonest president the US has ever had?

It is a tried and tested Trump technique - distract with some outrage. I’m guilty of reacting but the best response is surely to just ignore. Its easy to ignore the ignorant.
Back on topic, there has been surprisingly little comment about Trump’s latest piece of corruption - the premium charges for early access to his posts. This flagrant piece of insider trading is the Trump’s corruption packaged up, with a bow and with a $100k a month price tag. How he can even think such a thing, let alone suggest it, let alone start putting into place is beyond staggering. And this crappy behaviour is meant to make America great?

Hi

Very early on in my career I was given a bit of advice.

Never argue with an idiot.

First of all they drag you down to their level and then they beat you with years of experience.

Isn’t it called Brandolini’s law - the effort to refute rubbish claims is massively greater than the effort to put pen to paper with a rubbish claim. So its a double distraction. The only response is “provide evidence or we ignore it as pish” so that the effort goes back to the person making up the claim.

Some of the best advice I was ever offered! Instead of trying to rationally discuss the issue, there will be nothing but…back and forth, egg you on, distract, challenge…it’s exhausting to say the least.
Far better to recognize this idiot, and get off his train (of thought) at the first stop.

President Trump has hailed his takeover of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as an economic boon for the storied venue, claiming the historic theater “would be in financial ruin” without Trump, and that not putting his name on the building would “cause donors to flee.”

Instead, it’s been a complete bust.

New reporting from The Washington Post shows that the center is on track to fall $100 million short of its profit goal directly because of Trump changing the name to the Trump-Kennedy Center. It expects to miss its budget target by 70 percent and contributed revenue by 25 percent, a projected $23 million deficit

Why does the Kennedy center need a budget of $230 million and $240 million budget. It should be more than enough with more than $4 million. Waste fraud and abuse.
