Is Trump the most corrupt/dishonest president the US has ever had?

See you can’t even get your facts right. Comprehension is not your strong suit. Every time Iran asks for more, they lose something and get nothing. Iran stopped the Nuclear inspection, The EU did nothing about it, so Trump had to step in and get their attention again. It’s not over and your predictions on everything else has never been right, so what has changed. Nothing because you’re still wrong. No one controls the straight but we do control the ships trying to enter Irans ports. Iran has not received any of its frozen assets. Where do you get your information? From Iran? Do tell about other countries view on the US being there and facts would help your view. Illegal and a war crime? What idiot came up with that idea? An all international court? Lol, ok, now we are scared. And what has Iran got out of what they have asked for? And what would they ask to have there refineries and everything else to be bombed. Sad.

No, that is incorrect. Trump walked away from the inspection agreement.

The strait is closed because Iran will attack any ship passing through. That sounds a lot like Iran controls the strait. The US blockade is pointless.

That would be why this is one of their negotiation demands. Duh.

It is clearly set out in international law that destroying civilian infrastructure is a war crime. I know you and Trump think that the US is above the law but that does not change the law. Nor make it any less of a war crime.

All of that does not change the humiliation of Trump with his claims of a deal that turn into not a deal. Then his petulant demands for more bombings by Hegseth’s hapless military. Then Iran firing missiles at US bases, sometimes targeted by soldiers helpfully publishing their fitness runs on Strava. Dumb.

Strikes me you don’t receive the news where you are Robin. Iran is playing Mr T. And Mr T is playing the financial markets.

It concluded that an offensive operation launched by the US military would be unlikely to dismantle the central pillars of the Iranian government. Assassinating Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei could backfire, resulting in the consolidation of Iranian military and political structures and the activation of emergency protocols the Iranians had been preparing for years. Iran’s domestic opposition was unlikely to be able to seize power in such a scenario. A limited air campaign or even a protracted war stood a serious chance of failing to achieve regime change.

Caine specifically told Trump that Iran would likely close Hormuz, and the US force in the region would have difficulty unblocking it. JD Vance tried to change Trump’s mind, warning him the operation would unleash chaos in the region, and cited the munition shortage explicitly. But Trump had already made up his mind, and both Vance and Caine demurred from taking more serious action to stop the war from proceeding. Vance told Trump that even though he thought it was a bad idea, he would support the president’s decision. Decades of Israeli efforts had culminated in an incredible triumph of influence without any precedent. The US military would deliberately enter into a war of aggression it knew it would lose.

Navy weighs major warship redesign to match Trump’s preferences

The president wants the new fleet of aircraft carriers to more closely resemble those from World War II. The change could cost billions.

He’s acting like a tinpot dictator and the US is just letting him. :grinning:

Yes, Trump walked away but what happened to the rest that were still in the JCPOA.
Remaining Participants
Iran
United Kingdom
France
Germany
China
Russia
European Union
The remaining nations expressed regret over the U.S. withdrawal and stated their intent to keep the accord alive to ensure Iran continued to curb its nuclear activities.
But
Despite European efforts to maintain trade and bypass U.S. sanctions, Iran eventually began rolling back its own commitments and exceeding enrichment limits set by the agreement. The framework ultimately unraveled over the following years.
Oh, no they were trading with Iran. And those countries couldn’t prevent Iran from doing what they wanted. Lol

The U.S. has enforced a naval blockade targeting Iranian ports and non-compliant commercial ships in and around the Strait of Hormuz, aiming to halt unauthorized shipping and pressure Tehran.

Legal Concerns and Accusations, no actions have been taken. No one cares about accusations.

Facts

LOL. I have more followers on tiktok than your referenced new article organization of 4000 followers. Might have more value if you just reference a chap forum.

Again, lol. Might want to check the budget for new and upgrade of ships. Again, the US works on such a large scale, small countries can’t comprehend.

Hi

This thread could be a very good and informative one if Robin1 and Lincs could possibly stop the playground name calling.

Yet another thread ruined .

I would appreciate it if you could share one example of me playground name calling. I just flipped back through the last 200 posts on this thread and checked my posts. Not one example of name calling. Perhaps I did drop my standards a bit earlier - but I don’t recall doing so - even in the face of direct insults. In fact, re-reading many of my posts I am surprised by my own restraint. So, I ask - why the accusation against me?
(Clarification - back at post 548 I called Robin a “dope” but that was because he entirely missed the very obvious point of my previous post - so more a conversational use of dope rather than playground name calling)

By now I guess we are all aware of Robins political views to which he is entitled. However his continued “baiting” enticing an opposite response is getting a bit boring.
I would love to debate for example about photography with him, but I do wonder if that is of any interest or any other subject. Maybe he is an expert in knitting but keeps it a secret. Cross stitch comes to mind

keeping my thoughts to myself

You won, that’s out of my area of interest. But, not really debate but would be more than interested, discussing The universe, evolution, ballistics, military history, US coins and world stamps.

Don’t real care about politics but like most Americans, don’t bash my country, don’t push your religion on me. Honest believer, you can believe anything you want but if it is brought up publicly it can be discussed publicly.

as your interested in the universe, have you ever been to the UK, best country in the world

No, the closest I’ve come is edinboro Scotland

I believe there is a new Coast Guard Class Boat of 4500 tons to arrive in the Strait Area soon.
It is designed to be upgradable, adaptable to different ordinance for above and below sea level
defenses, much quicker and cheaper to build. 12 of them currently.

It’s obvious cheap drones will soon be able to conduct ongoing & continuing operations to further degrade Iran’s manufacturing, blow up bridges and generation.

Before he was done with the tour on Wednesday, the president also reminded the press pack that he had donated the two huge flag poles now flanking the White House, and made a point of saying that those poles were of the highest quality.

“This is a great pole,” Trump said. “This is the top of the line. It’s tapered. Great. I’m very good at flagpoles.

The GOAT at flagpoles.
